I like how some random dude who probably never even posted in AA made the automotive subforum

Running lights are suppose to turn off when you are parked with theach email break on.
The email brake? Huh?
I'm Canadian now. I do what I want.
The lights on my IQ stay on permanently I think, unless I turn the switch off or hit the door lock button on the key twice. Unfortunately I found out about the key remote turnoff after I had already developed the habit of manually turning off the lights when I exit the car.
replaced the power steering fluid in my taurus just now oh my god this is amazing
I like how some random dude who probably never even posted in AA made the automotive subforum
i lurk AA a lot, lol. just afraid to post in here because I dunno. I use to browse the AA subforum a lot back in the days when it was still a thing, so I thought about remaking it even though I rarely post here, which is my bad apologies for that :/
also it was the color of flat coca-cola (no it didn't smell burnt or have metal particles in it)
I like how some random dude who probably never even posted in AA made the automotive subforum
I think I remember him from the old subforum it'll be fine
Nice try, Ford. [t]http://i.imgur.com/0bKA2m2.png[/t]
What's y'alls opinion on a Honda shadow 750? Just looking for a smaller road bike.
What's y'alls opinion on a Honda shadow 750? Just looking for a smaller road bike.
Depends on what you're going for in a bike, I'd imagine. Looks wise it's stunning, looks sharp as hell. Specs wise it seems pretty decent too.
Depends on what you're going for in a bike, I'd imagine. Looks wise it's stunning, looks sharp as hell. Specs wise it seems pretty decent too.
I'm looking for a fun bike in that general style that's reliable and have a bit of power without being over the top. Don't want anything too big but I don't want my 6'1" self to be cramped. My dad had a honda magma that's rather similar to the shadow and I loved driving it.
What's y'alls opinion on a Honda shadow 750? Just looking for a smaller road bike.
I like them. little slow for my tastes though
I like them. little slow for my tastes though
750 is really all I think I need. A big step up from my first 70cc dirtbike :v:
aaa I nearly bought an IROC but I was really nervous about the early emissions control stuff so I didn't and I've regretted it ever since. also it had t-tops so it was leaky and the interior was ruined but shitty interior doesn't bother me that much, it's not like the factory interior in those is much prettier :v:
I have a love/hate relationship with these cars They're like Volkswagen Rabbits, you have to strip them down to bare parts and reassemble with better and reconditioned parts... Except they're much harder to work on and you can't get half of the parts for them anymore. However, a really good one is amazing. I did some work for a friend today on his restored 87 IROC. Despite everything being new and as it's supposed to be, the brakes are underwhelming and the car always has a loose feel to it, but it has a 383 and a T56 in it. Now I've driven alot of stuff and it is in the top ten for most smile inducing cars. That engine and gearbox combo is perfection. They can be Really good, but it takes a TON of work. By far the most labor intensive race car ive dealt withm but an amazing car after it was all said and done. G-force GT4 dog box, ANZE suspension, full floating 10 bolt custom geometry rear end, 450hp out of a 302 with the off the shelf spec holley carb and a .499" lift cam, etc. He sold it to a vintage race team in Germany a few years ago and it still holds all it's track records, fastfastfast. Now he's building a Datsun 510 for vintage racing. [t]http://i.imgur.com/MxWkYNi.jpg[/t]
Nice try, Ford. [t]http://i.imgur.com/0bKA2m2.png[/t]
That's actually very clever advertising.
Went to a little classic gathering today, so many lovely cars. [t]http://i.imgur.com/fsCQELm.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/OpD86fm.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/O5KB7p1.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/dVT95tZ.jpg[/t] All of them were 100% stock, it really was like entering a time machine.
Doesn't the Charger weigh less by a few hundred pounds?
Sorry for clocks, It has been a long week. I don't think it's far off. The Pursuit weighs about 50 lbs less than a Interceptor. The AWD SXT I think weighs about 150 to 200# less than the pursuit, but is geared slightly taller in first and second, and shorter throughout the rest of the range than the pursuit. Plus, the pursuit has a shorter torque curve than the 3.5L, but hits its peak just over 2500 rpm while the 3.5l hits its torque peak at 3100 rpm. Horsepower has a similar thing where it has a lower overall redline in the pursuit, but has higher horsepower earlier while the 3.5l redlines and peaks horsepower at 6800 (though is limited electronically to 6750).
Went to a little meetup today. Then Lambos, Ferraris, Astons and Porsches started rolling in. The Supra looked out of place, lol.
That's AJ-Tanken, isn't it? I went to a few meet ups there last year, it's such a chill place. I was trying to decide if I should have went there today or Kulturværftet in Helsingør, went for Kulturværftet [t]http://i.imgur.com/8Jwtvmn.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/j5tY8ca.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/jJpNdHi.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/AsMcfGf.jpg[/t]
Well, lots of problems were coming up with my venerable Rav4 that I decided I didn't really want to invest a ton of money in to. So, I did some research for good 4x4s I could nab to replace it, and... I found this wonderful beast. 2007 Nissan Xterra S. On craiglist for $6900, needing new tires and new TPMS sensors all the way around. Not a big deal, I could get all of those at work for cheap. But, I was working eight days in a row, and the guy got impatient and told me he sold it to someone else. I was pretty fried, they don't pop up this clean with only 100k miles too often. But then, browsing dealer sites in the area, I saw it at a ford dealer. Guy traded it in towards an ecoboost F150, the salesman said. I was very happy for the second chance. Me and my father drove 2+ hours to it, payed $8900 for it (which was little more than I was hoping, but it had around $1k worth of service done to it. New sensors, the tires, and shocks replaced, so it wasn't a horrid deal for me.) Nabbed it. I'm gonna be paying it off for a while, but, well, I will be driving it for a long time. Very, very ecstatic. Have some pics! [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/N0F6fzI.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/cvnTMbu.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/m90T9cN.jpg[/thumb] And, to top it off... S I X G E A R S I X G E A R S [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/iqlIEfh.jpg[/thumb] So very happy. Even my father who hates most anything that isn't mopar is drooling over it, they are just so damn PRETTY for an SUV, hell, for any car! I was grinning the whole way home in it. Planning on a 2" lift and steel bumpers, and probably a set of Grabber AT2s in the future, hopefully. I am so excited.
My brother's got an '09 Xterra, really nice SUV and it's fun to drive. I also drive a frontier every day as my work truck and it's almost an Xterra in a pickup body, really nice ride as well.
I was looking at frontiers as well, but they're hard to find at this pricepoint as nice as this. Which is understandable, it has the Nippon Tax + the Taco tier reliability going for it, as far as I've seen. If I could have found one with the 6spd with decent miles, it would have been a tough decision between the two.
Damn marauder rims aren't cheap
