Clean, newish fluid properly bled is trackday proof. You don't need Motul blue or some shit for occasional use, just make sure the car is sorted.
Ever had brake fluid that was almost green from the corrosion of the copper brake lines?
Yeah, turns out the rear brake system on my previous car was never flushed ever since it got the steel lines replaced with copper until I replaced the wheel cylinders
Did someone say posting our unfinished heaps?

A lot of these, to me, the framing is off.
Some seem to lack purpose (the front quarter, clip only shots)
There were chances for some absolutely beautiful shots, but from the framing, they don't feel right at all.
Well its been awhile since Ive been on here hows everyone been haha.
This week I've put over 1200 kilometers on my Cavalier for work, what they pay me in milage is probably going to be more than the car is worth. I just wish my cruise worked.

(You can't see most of the rust from that angle)
do you guys have any tips for a new driver? :o
do you guys have any tips for a new driver? :o
Yea, you're going suck at driving despite what you or your friends think
do you guys have any tips for a new driver? :o
been driving for a while now, so I can give you some good things to remember.
keep your eye out on the road when it comes to other drivers. basically, don't assume what they'll do.
if you feel anxious as a new driver, then I'd suggest having someone in the passenger seat to make sure nothing goes too wrong. once you feel comfortable behind the wheel, then you'll be good on your own.
and really, all you have to do is just be comfortable driving. it takes some practice, but you'll get the hang of it. don't worry too much if you make a mistake on the road, stuff like this happens, and it's best to learn from it then to dwell in said mistake.

Red means go, yellow means go faster, and green means floor it. If you see blue you may want to slow down, or speed up depending on whether you want to go to jail or not. :v:v
Rule of thumb: Don't be an idiot and don't let your emotions drive the car, you should be in control the entire time. Generally speaking you should just use common sense.

Have enough money saved for your first crash.
Pretty much, emotional drivers are the worst. If something happens just let it go.

Don't be that guy who doesn't indicate
Indicate for a few seconds before you turn, if you indicate as you turn, you're effevtively not even indicating and people won't get much of a chance to anticipate what you're going to do

stuff like changing lanes and throttle control are perfectly fine for me and i got the hang of it pretty quickly
but the part i get hung up on the most is
[sp]steering[/sp]
idk why it's just hard for me to manage the pedals AND the steering wheel
and then straightening out the wheel after the process is also really bad
Practice, you just need to get comfortable behind the wheel.

Use your blinkers EVERY TIME and flip the bird to everyone who doesnt.
Yes yes yes, oh my goodness PLEASE use your blinkers for lane changes.. all that crap. It's one of my biggest pet peeves.
Be courteous and don't drive like a fuckwit who owns the road and tailgates and all that.
And when you're turning STAY IN YOUR LANE. People who turn AND drift over lanes make me want to smash them into the gutter, drag them out of their car, and beat them to death. It's more than once that I've been turning and the knob right next to me in a 2-wide turn decides they want my lane and just tries to drift it. Hope they have good insurance when they successfully make contact someday. And I hope it's not the NSX.. for their sake.
When I got my license my dad gave me one piece of advice
"Assume everybody is trying to kill you"
No crashes yet :v:
Have a random shot of my work mule

if driving in california on the freeways that are two lane:
if you're not going 5 over in the right hand lane
get off the road and find someone who's willing to break the speed limit

I drove through northern California through Shasta down to Redding a few months ago, norcal drivers are fucking pussy faggots who go slower than the speeds marked for truckers and what not on I-5 through the pass. There were times I couldn't even go the speed limit because people get scared the moment the vehicle is moving in any direction other than dead straight and flat. I was really disappointed since usually there's always the random people doing 90+ or at least 10 over, I only got passed a handful of times doing 8 over the whole way and only one person was going more than 2-4MPH faster than me.
Socal drivers are fucking nuts though, I've heard nightmares about them whenever the sky water comes down to melt everyone though.
All this use blinkers shit. I guess my Audi driver is still inside me. I hardly ever indicate unless it is necessary to communicate with other drivers waiting at let's say a 4 way.
My best tip. Learn to give plenty of room in front of you and take your time getting around. You don't need to be getting in a hurry or attempting to rip gears.

Sure you're not driving a rebadged BMW?
The core difference between typical Audi and BMW drivers were always that the Audi drivers ARE physically capable of using their indicators.
also the lighter port needs to be fixed, might just be disconnected but it's probably just buggered
most likely a blown fuse is to blame

At least use your damn blinkers so you dont turn that biker in your blind spot into a road pancake.
last week I ordered 4 tires from walmart because they were cheap and I need them, they were supposed to be here today so I gave em a call
the girl went and looked, came back about 5 minutes later
"yes sir we have them here"
"all 4 of them?"
"oh, no... only 3"
cool
First mistake was buying tires from Walmart regardless of price
wal mart carries perfectly fine tires, it's just that the staff is stupid
First mistake was buying tires from Walmart regardless of price
I love the small tire shop that I go to, it's ran by two brothers and all they do is tires. They're a certified Tirerack installer but they can also get their hands on a bunch of other low end or specialty brands.
I used to go to Goodyear since I can't stand Les Schwab, Americas Tire or any of those other slam it together, make all the boxes green on the alignment rack and don't even torque the lugs down type shops. I just can't do that shit anymore, I want to kill people when places want to do work on your car which you yourself has already done.

i'm actually from norcal and a lot of people don't do that which is frustrating
i go driving again today! hopefully i learn how to steer properly this time
Its satire but
