Sally. You already know what I'm gonna say, so I'm gonna save us all some time and let you verbally abuse yourself.
I've gotta get the one duster done!! If you know your A-bodies you'll know a floor shift column, rallye dash, 8 3/4, heater delete, kelsey hays 4 piston calipers, non power steering pulleys, and black bucket seats are the creme de la creme parts to come across. The fiberglass and rack and pinion is icing on the cake.
I'll be taking the good shit for my car and putting alright shit in this car so its still complete. Anything you're looking for?
Things that suck;
Trying to wrap a car with cheap Chinese vinyl. don't do it.
so i've just finished my behind the wheel training course and now i am set to take my first (and hopefully only) driving test june 27th :toot:
only problem is that i can't adjust myself in the road, meaning that i'm always too far to the right inside my lane and i have no idea how to fix it
only problem is that i can't adjust myself in the road, meaning that i'm always too far to the right inside my lane and i have no idea how to fix it
Just a matter of getting used to it. The longer you drive a car, the more you get used to its dimensions, the better you can place it on the road.
so about le mans
i missed the finish but i heard about toyota broke down in front of the finish line

im so fucking pissed
they were in control all fucking race, then 3 minutes towards the end.... Kaz lost power at the 2nd mulsanne chicane, it was all over from there
not sure about ford gt, but they seem to win the race of their own class, so does this mean they're repeating history?

for non bmw nerds it is the best non M e46 you can buy (six speed manual with larger engine and better suspension). hes asking slightly above what its worth, but im kind of tired of driving shitboxes. car has some ting dents and standard e46 interior wear but besides that its super clean.

I was loosing it when i saw it, it just looked so fake like as if it was purposely botched somehow
i mean comeon after no faults what so ever for 24 hours, suddenly at the very last 5 minutes it dies...

How sure are you it has had its proper maintenance?
Make sure you check the rear subframe mounting points, E46s like breaking those.
Also just for good measure check the power steering fluid, if it's murky as fuck, that's a sign of bad maintenance because people always miss that.
also can someone with a 2005ish crown vic/cvpi(aka trekintosh), tell me if there's any good spots to do a suction cup phone mount in it?
i'm not a huge fan of windshield mounted setup, i'd prefer somewhere on dash (ideally below dashline)
I genuinely have been struggling with it on mine. There's no good empty space. The best idea I've come up with is to get one of those bendy arm phone mounts and put it in the space below the driver's side central air vent.

Looks great, but I would personally never buy a car with an interior like that
day 13(?):
got a call from walmart while at lunch, didn't notice my phone ringing
called back
"wal mart photo lab, how can i help?"
"oh, uh, y'all called me and i'm just-" "ohh... is this about the tire?" "yep."
in short they still couldn't locate the 4th tire so they finally just had them send another one. it should be here on friday.
i still don't know what the photo lab has to do with this, but they were more help than anyone else.

i'm like 90% positive the current suction cup location on my taurus is in an airbag location
i guess don't get in an accident

I've tried it with the cheap stuff. Just on a hood - it was awful.

I would. No hard feelings with a M/T and a large engine in a bmw.

Ive got a 2010 and it came with a coaster-lookin thingy stuck to the dash that was intended to provide a flat surface for suction cups.

yeah i've got one of those in my current car on the dash, but it's not in an entirely airbag safe spot

Picked this piece of shit up for $500 today.
Needs a new radiator core support because the previous short-term owner decided that putting it on the towtruck using the support was a great idea, and now the hood won't open. Should make an interesting rallycross / autocross / farmhoon car, though.
Alright AA, here's the 4 million dollar problem.
I have money for a lot of paint. The problem is, I've narrowed it down to 6 things I want to do. I just can't decide... so... Here's a handy guide of my ideas. The color crayon basic drawing is just to show how i want the colors organized. No solid colors, two tone is for me. single color makes it incredibly bland looking no matter the color. Also these have links for the colors as an example.
I like the viper color scheme but don't feel like it fits
How so? Everyone's seeming to vote for the color I initially wanted so far.
I wouldn't do the racing stripes, and the color itself is just really cool.
Edit:
I also just accidentally found this color... which would be sweet with a white roof http://www.tcpglobal.com/Automotive-Paint/Restoration-Shop-2603/
I'm leaning towards a classy looking - but obviously not stock color. Just enough to know no one else has the same color Dart, and Darts never came in X color that year.
No interest in my Impreza thus far. Started the listing at 3k, dropped to $2250. In this area, even with rust, $2250 is a decent deal - especially with the oodles of parts im including.
Autocross videos!
*Videos and pics*
Looked like you spun kinda easy, but it's not like you had amazing tires on it anyway. But I wish the autocross lot around here was a bit more open and had less extra lines like that one. Also, you did alright with the experimenting of the camera placement. It will improve even more with time just like your driving. Also, remember that you'll feel steering/grip go light before it goes loose and spins. That way you'll better realize you're on the limit of grip. You did good with the slalom sections, getting right up to the cones and carrying good speed, even hitting the camera on occasion!
My most recent trip, although my car isn't featured in this video:

In contrast though, there is a legit track farther up north in my state that I DEFINITELY am planning on driving at in Sept:

Autocross needs more locations like this!
Also, some pics of my day:

What felt like a very dramatic spin that may have taken out the timing lights as well as many cones was really just a silly spin that got me across the line in fashion, basically hitting maybe 1 cone.
I like the blue Serj, but I'm a sucker for blue cars. I see plum crazy is winning, and that would look dope as well :)
Here're what it looks like when 3 guys who don't know jack about vinyl wrapping wrap a car in the middle of the night with the cheapest crap vinyl you can get.

Never again will I attempt a wrap with anything but 3M. I swear it. Honestly I'll probably just stick to paint hahah!!

I like the blacked out/murdered out look on Darts. Out of your options I think plum crazy is the best, it's a classic Mopar color and will make the lines pop. If you wanna change the look I wouldn't bother with turbine bronze.

This looks sinister as hell, but I dunno if the turbo slant makes the right sound for that look.
