Who are you and what are they going on.
It's uh... It's a good thing I bought a new chain.
uhhhhhh how many miles does that engine have :v:
uhhhhhh how many miles does that engine have :v:
~200K or something. I knew it wasn't taken care of. Otherwise, it'd already be in my car.
break check me and I might get a ticket for failure to control my vehicle but your gonna have a unicorn horn up your ass. I would suggest you do the same if you were in your chevy.
Brake checking is illegal in this state. Even if the driver behind is tailgating badly, the entire fault generally is put on the brake checker. It's viewed as vehicular assault here. I, luckily, wasn't tailgating.
Who are you and what are they going on.
Hi I'm a weeaboo and they are going on a clean Zenki Z31. I'm really into shakotan culture. And yes Z31's can and do look good with 14's you just gotta look hard enough
Finally got around to washing+waxing the MR2. The blue is so beautiful when it's polished up
Guys guys guys guys After 1½ years of it being off the road, it's back! [t]http://i.imgur.com/jurtVcB.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/3zcnt92.jpg[/t] Still has slight injection pump issues (can't really rev above 3400 rpm at anything but full throttle) and the new top speed is 70 km/h, but it drives! haha. It's going to a mechanical injection pump specialist really soon, but the most important thing is that runs and drives!
Sorry guys but it's off the road again. All the fluid for the hydraulicly actuated clutch suddenly ended up on the ground beneath it. :( I don't have time to fix it right now so back to storage with it.
Finally got around to washing+waxing the MR2. The blue is so beautiful when it's polished up
Wasn't there a imgur album tag thing?
And so it begins [T]http://i.imgur.com/iUFPVWm.jpg[/t] Ended up going out and buying the right paint this time. The original was thick. This stuff, i haven't opened yet, but it's more of a very light oil consistency. Not saying the color, though i will say I have an RS grill and bugeye bumper waiting to go on.
It puts slightly more stress on the studs, especially when driven hard. I personally don't have them for any of my cars. However, on a Euro car with lug studs instead of lug nuts it's almost a necessity.. it sucks trying to put a rim on that doesn't sit tight on the hub and threading the first one or two of those in.
Yeah, putting them on was a bit weird, and it doesn't feel nice driving it like this. I'll have to park the car anyways, so I'll just order some center rings.
Does anyone here have any experience on VIR by any chance?

Make sure you go on the freeway and give it a good Italian tune-up once it's working properly. Anyway, here is my brick for the brick thread - now with more fuel delivery problems than ever! [t]https://i.gyazo.com/41c62637ca2fd84bb4d1fb80219e4a11.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.gyazo.com/5602c46c6250c5da0b53bddca0b88079.jpg[/t] I had an auxiliary fuel pump failure, and fuel distributor clog situation last month that put the car out of service for a week and relieved my wallet of $1147.75... Lambretta Update (not that you guys remember that scooter I was working on): It's still broken, piston is seized in block. Transmission and rear wheel unfrozen, brakes in partially working order. Transmission shifts finally. Questions for the Question Thread I'm looking for a fairly new used car that can take the abuse of a 20 year old like myself who lives fast. In my search I came across a base 2013 Ford Taurus PPV with 61k miles and 80 idle hours. It doesn't appear to be hacked up from upfitters, looks to be in decent shape, and has never been wrecked. It's at a used cop car dealer in Newark and they want $8900 for it, is it even worth looking at? My budget is 9k, which excludes tax, title, reg, and my post purchase fluid drain-&-fills/flushes.
In my experience with older Mercs that were left to sit, they will always tease you and make you think you've finally sorted it out only to suffer some new off the wall issue that'll take another thousand to fix Bonus points if you google it and nobody else in the world seems to be having that problem
Sounding like my AC compressor (clutch) is about to grenade itself. I knew it was worn, but holy shit did it get bad today.
Mine's been clicking like it was about to die soon, too. I just got all the coolant lines replaced last year because the damned things cracked open and leaked everywhere.
I think I'm going to properly retrofit my AC in my truck to 134a. It has r-12 lines with converters on them that leak a little, so not my ac has..... leaked a little. Plus it docent help about 3-4 months ago my ac compressor blew the ac oil out the back of it magically. Does anyone know were I can find the rear heater lines with the couplings for the rear heater for a 94 suburban? I am making a full body skidplate with built in holes for trans cooler and stuff and wanted to replace just about everything under there before it button it back up. [editline]27th June 2016[/editline] why don't we all group up buy harbor freight manifold gauges and their vacuum pump then later cringe at how terrible it is.
why don't we all group up buy harbor freight manifold gauges and their vacuum pump then later cringe at how terrible it is.
something about a timeshare tool....
something about a timeshare tool....
No, we all guy them then later all bitch at how terrible they are.
It took the owner a few years to come around, but I can now say I'm a part of the mr2 crew now! :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/Ur5DH3p.jpg[/t]

One thing though, a rat chewed up the spark plug boots :/ Also, jesus christ, a small momo steering wheel and no power steering makes it a pain to park.
Fucking hell That is almost too nice to race
It's all about how comfortable you feel with a small depth bolt holding the wheels on your car. The studs for lug nuts on your car are a lot better, and it's adding a not as strong part to it. You're better off finding a 5 lug disc or drum to add to the car. In sports news, I bought a set of door poppers, and the door handles are going bye bye on the Dart.
Your point about the spacers is null if they're hubcentric; in which case, the load would be distributed to the hub. You should ALWAYS buy hubcentric spacers and hubcentering rings in anything that's not stock. Does it cost a lot if it eventually gets damaged?
It's not rice when applied on a car that's an actual race car, right? Personally I think it's a great looking kit. With those, it's RELATIVELY easy to make new fenders and such.
Forgive me for my ignorance fellas but I need a hand here. I ordered new headlights for my eclipse (whereas literally every ounce of my automotive experience is on pre-1974 Americanski cars) and do not know what I'm looking at. These were the cheapest I could find and all I need is for it to pass inspection so I wasn't super worried about quality as long as they came on. They happen to be these projector/halo things. I don't particularly care if that works but while I'm under the hood I might as well wire them up, except... The thingy says they need to be wired to a "CCFL inverter". Considering my car was not equipped with projectors from the factory, is this some vestigial component hiding somewhere? All I can find googling is "CCFL inverter replacements" Finally I have no idea what this will look like other than, I'm assuming, jdm as fuck. Will I look like a prick with these things wired up? I'm assuming I don't need to wire them for the bulbs to light, so if this "CCFL inverter" isn't something that already exists on the car, I'm not going to bother.
it's not going to have a ccfl inverter already. they're specifically to drive the halos. you can probably just leave out the wiring for the halos and just run the light [editline]27th June 2016[/editline] an inverter is like $8 though it wouldn't be a big deal to just get one

Make sure the headlight hole is not D2S or has a D2S bulb in it (for your headlights) if it has a regular hole that your ol headlights have than everything is fine and just don't plug up those stupid looking running lights.
