Suspension question.
On the front sway bar on my crown vic, I know the forward/back play is bad, but there is also about an inch of left/right play. Is that acceptable, or not?
I need to stop looking at cheap Mopars on Craigslist.
I need to garage first.
Im gonna go take a look at this tomorrow for the same friend I bought the goldwing for

I have a gravel driveway while also living in Ohio, which salts their roads like a maniac. My old Taurus developed uber rust after just two winters.

It's crazy all the jeeps I see rolling around without rusted out frames now that I've moved from Ohio to Mississippi.
what?
Goat.

Also goat is commonly used in reference to jeeps that can fucking go anywhere. But how I just used it as the most stubborn animal that can do more work and better than anything. Litterly the best I6 ever.

I fucked died when he just sidesteps, mashes gas, and turns the key
So I made the move on the Focus Racing Spokes. They were actually cheap, due to their very narrow width, 6 puny inches, a positive offset of +13, and some wear on the faces of the wheels. Lips aren't actually half bad.

Picked them up at $1400 total, which is a steal compared to other prices you see for desirable widths, and 4-Lug PCD's:

That's roughly $3500-$4000 for only two wheels. Literal unicorns, right next to the Yayoi.
they look like wheels fuccbois stance their shitty hondas with
they look good with those hipro tires though
those would look rad on a repu or something
[editline]29th June 2016[/editline]
speaking of minitrucks this thing is rad

They make em ready for you.
that's the thing though, I don't need tubbed and caged for what I want to do with a minitruck

I had a lot of side to side play with shit bushings and a broken link, after I fixed that there's none.
Thought I'd show my beautiful Volvo 850 from 97, it's in pretty good condition (no rusting, just some minor faults that don't need to be fixed) but it has an automatic transmission (very shameful). All I need now is a good sound system :D.

My bushings were pretty worn, so i replaced those, so no more side to side play, but now the noises it makes when i hit bumps are even worse. While the front end was jacked up i tried to wiggle the sway bar links, they semed solid. Also wiggling the wheels by hand there is no up/down play or left/right play, so ive got no idea why theres so much ckunking going on.
I'd just like to show you guys this 42 year old fuckheavy piece of history from the norwegian anime called "Flåklypa Grand Prix" where R. Felgen has to prove himself against his cuntfuck piece of shit apprentice that stole his designs.

It's so important to us that in a country which had about 5 million inhabitants, it sold 5.5 million tickets, and it is aired on every fucking christmas.
Christian von Koenigsegg himself said he started making cars because he watched it at age 5.
The F150 was hot garbage. Way too much work for 600$.

well congratulations friend :)
So, I made a custom cable to add Aux to the shitty alpine stereo that was already in my car, and when I pulled out the unit to check out the back, all I saw was a mess of the oem harness, tape, zipties and butt connectors. It was so bad, I kept knocking out random speaker channels and i just had to fiddle with it until it worked. And once it sounded good enough, I just mashed it all back in. I don't wanna fuck with that right now.
I have aux in now, so I have that going for me. :v:

Tighten the endlinks with load on both sides of the suspension and add silicone grease to the mount bushings on the bar. Some people also have luck with teflon tape around the bar where the bushing holds it but I'm not a fan of that. You also might try loosening those if they're squeezing on the bar.

1995 Columbia ParCar (gas), owned by my great-grandfather for 20 years. No idea how I should price it for selling though. The golf cart market is weird.
Made the move on a non shitbox
2005 BMW 330i ZHP
Six speed manual, Alcantara interior and some other goodies
200k Miles but I paid less than half of what similar condition 120k mile zhps go for and has a book of service records an inch thick.
Bought it from the second owner who owned it since 10k, completely unmolested and maintained.

Got my hands dirty for the first time today in my miata
I cleaned my EGR valve out and my thottle body plate. The car idles a lot better now and my CEL hasn't come back. I'm addicted now. I want to rip off my upper intake manifold and clean it now too, along with taking my throttle body off completely and scrubbing it down.
Cars are cool.
3am oil changes yeah! Always a joy to do one on the newer R18A Civics since the filter comes out of the bottom corner of the pan. Absolute shame Denso is becoming a cheap brand though, once there was a time where they generally made all the best bits of Hondas and Toyotas and they were the only manufacturer to sell things like a true OEM spec filter for the NSX.
Now a lot of their stuff is coming from China and their oil filters just got switched over entirely to China and were redesigned to be cheaper while still the same price... I just took off one of their old filters which they discontinued 6-8 months ago after 7500 miles and that thing was as tight as new and even after taking it off and dropping it onto the oil pan that filter after sitting for a day was literally pooling oil out of itself with the silicone ADBV working flawlessly still unlike many of the Mobil1's or Wix filters I've used in the past on my Integra.
I'll probably still end up buying them because they're still about $3.25 a filter but I'd much rather pay $4 for their filter and actually get a Mobil1 quality filter for a 1/3rd of the price still. RIP Denso 150-1006 and 150-1010, you will be missed as the greatest bang for your buck filter ever made.
I've got some vibration in my wheels now, I start to notice it around 60 km/h. I took the passenger front wheel off and put it back on, that seems to have fixed most of it. There's still a bit, though, but I'm uncertain about how much of it is from the lower profile or from the wheel with a dent in it.
