To make even pulses of exhaust?
nah that sort of stuff is purely showing off at that point
I finally did something I've wanted to do for 13 years, drive Pikes Peak. I would of loved to do it in my own car, but that's for a different day. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21270004/Pic%27s%20%28clean%29/Cars/WRX/Resized/_DSC0044.jpg[/t][t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21270004/Pic%27s%20%28clean%29/Cars/WRX/Resized/_DSC0124.jpg[/t] Bonus: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21270004/Pic%27s%20%28clean%29/_DSC0107-Pano.jpg[/t]
It sucks that the hillclimb has gone to shit so bad, that this year you would be forgiven for not realizing it even happened. The coverage was apparently non-existent, they limited the field (albeit for the possibility of more practice time for everyone), they tried to push out the non-big name teams and isolate the Joe Schmoe, and even severely limited the spectating, to the point in that you cannot hike up the mountain. You basically had to stay within the bottom 3rd of the mountain supposedly. I read they even had police presence in the areas, as if to control the crowds. I have read they had issues with drunk idots running across the track, and even 1-2 getting hit. But my overall impression is that generally the usual crowds were tame, enthusiastic and respectful fans. So, it's just been the organizers not giving a proper shit about what they have in their hands. And to think this year was the 100th anniversary, it makes it even more of a shame! This article does a good summary of why this year was shit.
Why?
wat [t]http://blog.bilbasen.dk/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/20160119kuhl028.jpg[/t]
Only thing I can think of is that it was too loud and there's no good place to put mufflers/resonators so someone was like fuck it lets make a bingy as fuck rear exhaust that by being split up so many times and merged in all sorts of strange ways with some resonators probably sounds pretty good and quiets it down some too.
Getting real close. I cleared up some space in the shop to fit it under my hoist on its I beam up there. That way I can put the car in line with it and move the old engine out and into an old tire, and then the other one will sit tight till i can paint the engine bay and tunnel. ALso some may notice i changed the color. I changed my mind. It happens. I'm going with a red, white and blue-ish type theme. SO the car will be Viper Blue, with white tail stripe (painted on) and roof, with 1/16" hide-em red fine line tape to seperate the colors. Then the red engine, amongst the blue engine bay with silver peripherals hanging off of it. And since I've changed color combos, I sandblasted the exhaust manifold I made so Mustang Sally can see just how totally bitchin it is before I repaint it fireproof silver. Wait, what happened to the stormtrooper motor?
Wait, what happened to the stormtrooper motor?
Same motor. Went Rebel. Reviews online are pretty good, the bad ones only seem to be from dingbats that rub it on whereas it only works when its soaked.
The way to go is take a 5 gallon drum, fill it full of molasses and water, and dump the parts in, close the lid, and wait about 2 months. You can also follow these steps, check it: 1. Remove all car parts from cars that aren't a Dodge Dart 2. Insert all parts, including useless engines into Pacific Ocean 3. If no Pacific Ocean is available, use an Atlantic Ocean 4. Remove bodies of cars, and insert into abandoned mining town. 5. If no abandoned mining town available, insert into creepy forest. 6. All you should have now is a Dodge Dart and all of it's needed parts. 7. If there are any Fucksbody Buttstains left, insert into Pacific Ocean 8. Reassemble Dodge Dart and restore. 9.Viola you have now restored all your parts. Enjoy.

I feel Senator Mothma knows that the way forward is to stop the tyranny by destroying their space station. I am on board with this plan.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/D2AnWJv.jpg[/t] I got bored.
Well that was a bit of a scare. I stop at a light and drop into first. Light goes green and all I get is an engine rev and a clutch pedal that's stuck at the floor. After flexing the cable a bit it slipped back again but I guess it's time to clean the cable.

Pedal didn't come back up and was completely free of movement. Pushed it to turn back around home, tried push starting it to a fail since there was no clutch pedal. So I started it with my foot to the floor on the gas and clutch pedal down to hit the safety switch, rev matched into second and drove in second until I got back home. Turned off the car and stopped it in gear too. Luckily I wasn't too far from home though but I think I could have made it home from wherever. Clutch cable found about an inch and a half of slack no idea where it came from but I haven't had any issues since. Just adjusted the cable after I took the integra to do whatever I was going to do at the time.
Is that a jigsaw puzzle simulator???
Sadly it's yell at your friends when you friends play +4's in UNO over and over at you simulator. aka Tabletop Simulator.

I jacked up the front axle of my truck and surprise surprise, i need to replace all 3 u-joints, both hubs, outer seals, and maybe bearing and inneer seals. Anyone got some good reading material on how to pretty much rebuild a dana\spicer 44 ttb?
Well got my TIG machine, and behold my first baby tig weld
The truck is sold :frown:
So, it's weird. I pulled the clutch cable out of the firewall and sprayed some graphite down the shaft. I slid the cable back and fourth a few times and it felt like it freed up but when I reinstalled it it sounds like the cable is rubbing against something metallic. Interesting.
I welded my fingers together now what
Are you iron man?
sucks living in a apartment and having no access to welding machine. I'd suffice with even a simple stick welder but no :(
My gasless welder runs fine on 120v 15A circuits.
I spent some time glass beading a lot of parts for the slant and restoring them back to clean metal, then laying some engine enamel on them. It's coming out rather swimmingly. It throws the mechanical advance back 5 degrees under boost. And that's all next to a brand new Wix51515 filter. This side of the motor is kind of empty without the fuel pump now that it's properly blocked off. I'm debating whether I want "loud" spark plug wires that are all yellow, or subtle black stock ones. The coil is a yellow Accel unit and hangs below the alternator when I have that mounted. The GM HEI module will also hang out in the same area on a custom aluminum plate I have yet to make. I was thinking a 90* aluminum angle piece that allows the module to bolt to the top of it and bolt to the block-off plate for the fuel pump. Its semi-metallic so it's not as flat and dull looking as the various colors they sell.
Man this is the second one of these fucking annoying pieces of shit I've had to pull off my car when I'm out driving. This one was a proper bitch to get out. I guess there's a reason my previous two E36s didn't even have head shields, they fall off at around 200k v:v:v
My parade was rained on. Got one coat on the hood before a heavy down pour that ruined it. So far - better than the blue, not nearly as textured. I'm debating what to do to smooth it out a tiny bit more. Polishing the fender made a decent improvement. Not sure if i want to thin the paint some, or to some polishing after. So a friend of mine has an 87 fifth avenue and I got a call about an hour ago that"The car feels like it's dancing down the road, what could that be?" Uhh, cars don't usually do the chimmichanga down the road for no reason, so I told her to bring it over so I can check it out.
Tell her that the cheese isn't evenly spread throughout the inside [editline]8th July 2016[/editline] Hey bike guys, I found this for sale today: [t]http://i.imgur.com/d0JZINJ.jpg[/t] Would be my first motorcycle, I just sort of stumbled upon it on my way home from work but I don't know anything about that particular motorcycle. Thoughts? [editline]8th July 2016[/editline] Also, is it me or is it mandatory for a motorcycle owner to lose their title?? Nobody ever seems to have them.
