Oh man oh man the house i'm moving into has a heated garage i'm so excited guys you have no idea
The best part of the 250 is that it retains its value very well. Most of the time you can flip it for what you paid for it. I can't say I agree on the gas mileage thing though. I got about 45 mpg out of mine which I thought was pretty good but my SFV650 gets nearly 60 mpg.
They really do, I bought mine for 1200 and sold it for 2400 after fixing it up a bit. It varies on how well the bike is maintained and your weight. If you're heavier, a 250 will suffer trying to lug you around and effect the economy. When I owned mine I was around 160 pounds and it got well over 60mpg.
Quick Question I've got a 07 Ford Ka and i've recently started hearing a squeaking noise coming from the car during some gear changes. The squeaking only occurs after i've released the clutch after a gear change and only really seems to happen on hills when i'm in higher gears (gears which the car would initially struggle with for a short period)
Just saw a JDM import Silvia on the way back from lunch/bank. Beautiful, and not molested with stance.
I installed the viper 3305v and power lock actuators on my mr2 and it turned out pretty okay. I still need to adjust the passenger actuator linkage a bit because it's flipping the door lock bit in the door, but not far enough to actually lock. Also goddamn, doing car electrics is a pain in the ass.
god bless murica
I didn't install the trim around the interior door handle on the drivers side correctly and it got wedged in the lock position. I crawled out of the passenger side. Afterwards, my dad laughed at me telling me I should've just rolled down the window and just used my keys to unlock it from the outside. :v: I did a dumb.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/T0ew2OR.jpg[/t] This car shows up in my neighborhood occasionally. I've talked to the owner and it's a sweet little ride. He built it from bits of like 6 different wrecked cars from 1928-32 and all different manufacturers, hand-fitted everything. It looks so sweet.
red lives matter [t]http://i.imgur.com/Bcbdi88.jpg[/t] still have been driving the wagon so the sedan has also been off the road
Had a bit of an internet celebrity at Cars N Coffee today...
Today was my last day delivering pizzas, I finally get to start my nursing career. On my 2nd to last delivery, I delivered to a guy with a really nice 94' NA miata and we started talking about it. He pointed out that he had ND rims and wheels on his car and I told him they looked nice. He told me that his buddy works in a mazda plant in Virginia or NC or something and he got them, rims and tires for $600 and told me if I was interested to hit him up on his email. Seems kinda sketch but they looked pretty nice. fuckkk I shouldn't spend the money, but I very well may end up doing it.

I'm doing an internship with IT in a hospital right now and its almost made me want to switch tracks to premed/nursing/pharmacy. Also, the new black ND rims look great.
Ching ching!! $$ The Iola Old Car Show was going on this weekend and we had our Best Buy/ Geek Squad booth there with a bunch of our cars that we've done installs on showing off. super awesome.. and I'll have some pics of that, soon. But there was something that really, really got me excited. There were a lot of manufacturers there, Ford, Chevy, etc.. showing off their boring new cars. And.. get this, Elio was there!! Me and one of my coworkers went and checked it out, and even got to sit in it. So cool. It was cool to be able to hang an arm out of each window, and the front seat feels about the same as any other car, just minus the seat next to you. The rear seat fit me, and I'm 6'. It's not suuuper comfortable, and I'd have to keep my knees at either side of the seat when it's slid back, but it's something you could put up with for a couple hours probably. The closest thing I can compare it to is sitting in the back seat of a Cessna or something!! Either way.. I've wanted to see one in person for so long. I was ecstatic. If it does everything it promises I think it's going to be a hit for people who have 2 cars, this one being their commuter.

This repaint has been a major hassle. Painted the hood, fender, and a door yesterday. Cue hurricane force winds and rain that ruined it (weather reports said NOTHING about this coming.) This will take a bit of work to fix. Started getting the WRX bumper ready, to find that the bumper beams bolts are turning in the beam. Thought of a new plan there, though. At this point, due to the amount of BS, I think I want to simply get 2-3 coats on everything, let it harden for a while, sand it, do a final check for filling/dents, and get the entire car set up for coats 3-5 all at once.
why on earth would you drive a crushable car to a public event?
It's actually an R32 with an R34 front clip on it.
Some dude on reddit built a bike. [T]https://i.imgur.com/UorSavc.jpg[/T] I'm surprised how this guy managed to make it so far without knowing what the fuck he's doing.
But he kinked all the tubes and there's almost no triangulation. :v:
The entire thing is a deathtrap. Breaking the tubes like that defeats the purpose of tubing, the fork is mounted on one pipe and there's no suspension, meaning those shit welds will break soon.
the engine is a stressed member, so I'm not concerned about that. more importantly, what the actual fuck is that rear triangle?
Yeah I dunno. It goes 8 miles an hour.
Anyone else notice he doesn't have a rear caliper? Or seemingly anything to use the front caliper?
even if he could use the front caliper, that chinsy mount for it is going to bend right off. [editline]10th July 2016[/editline] I found a scale today, and weighed my truck. Camper fully stocked, water tank full, roughly 30 gallons of fuel. 8500 lbs daaaaamn
Was trying to find out how much 8500lbs was, when I saw this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/gzuQ1aN.png[/t] Like, what the fuck people? [editline]10th July 2016[/editline] Also, I think my caliper brackets are as good as I'm ever going to get them: [t]http://i.imgur.com/Vb63dvb.jpg[/t]
