It's just the plastic bumper cover, right? Can't you blast it with some heat and it'll pop out for the most part, on its own? I just saw a reddit post yesterday about this.
Christ that's almost as big as a lot of the apartments I'm looking at
My dad is losing his workshop in the move, so I'm assuming some of the garage will be converted to that.
Plus side, we finally have a place for his 71 Barracuda, and my 71 Dart (if I decide to buy it).

man I'd hate to live in an apartment. I like being able to fire up my bench grinder in my 600 square foot garage at 11 pm

Heat might work to reform it, it's creased right now. But the paint is still fucked up around it (not visible in that pic).

It just pisses me off because this'll be my 3rd claim since Feb 2015 because of shitty drivers around here.
Anyone known how to get my CV joint over the retaining circlip/ring? I've already managed to mangle the clip that was supplied with the new CV joint and now have to use the old one. So far the only solutions I've managed to get are "lol, just buy a whole new axle assembly!"

Get someone to push the CV onto the shaft while you use a small screwdriver or pick to push the circlip into place.
You need to put a lot of force onto the new CV I've found whilst doing this, having a second person makes it a shitload easier

And I put a lot of force on it and broke the second clip. Hopefully when I do my other CV joint I'll be able to use the existing clip in that one and steal the new one for this joint.
Needs to stop raining though.
I'm gonna make a video on how the Beetle drives now but I just haven't found the time and place for it yet.
I can't decide what I want for the next car in my collection. I was thinking an '87ish RX7 but now I kinda want to continue the lineage and try to find a decent turbo SW20. Rotory or lineage, hm.

i'd get an estimate before you call your insurance
i personally wouldnt claim that imo, it looks like its gonna be less than 1k and it's not worth raising your premium and having it go on the vehicle history.
Ditched my 500 buck junk van for a pre-owned 2008 Toyota Camry Solara.

Newest car I've ever owned! 130,000 miles, no previous collisions, $7,000 with $1500 down. She's my Baby Blue.

Yeah I'll miss living in a house but real estate where I'm moving is expensive as fuck.
So I was wrong about the garage situation on the house we're looking at.
It has TWO garages.
One is attached to the house, which could fit 1, maybe two cars. This is where my dad will probably put his workshop.
The second detached garage is the 5 space, 440 sqft garage, with storage space above head.
Honestly, the whole place reminded me of the Winchester mansion. The whole thing is laid out in an odd way, but we all love it, so my parents are putting in an offer this afternoon.

I...I kinda like that body kit on the supra.

I'm very picky, I prefer discreet and sleek yet with nice details, or full out boxy/sharp-angled and 'flamboyant' 80's that just reeks of SynthWave something fierce.
The one he has is just enough to know its obviously not stock, but not obnoxious IMO, at least it doesn't look like a cheap shitty body kit

The sideskirt looks out of place compared to the front bumper.
Well the front bumper looks stock
If the police are blocking the road with their vehicles, the road is closed. Do not ask to go through it -- Unless you live immediately on the other side.
If the police are standing in the middle of an intersection controlling traffic, look and listen to them and not the other signs/signals.
And for the love of god if they're waving you through, dont fucking stop.
Dont stop and ask whats going on. Do not ask where to go since the road is closed. You are causing problems if you do.

Okay next week I'm talking to someone about options, this thing is starting to smoke and the valve guide seals are 100% shot as shit. Maybe I'll get a JDM B20 or something to swap out this motor so it can live life on a stand for a couple years before it goes out somewhere to get some nice internals.
After a day trip.

Pls excuse the slider in the first screenshot, was a phone upload.
Just added a 92 Mercedes 190E to my fleet. Paid $600 for it and drove it home. But there is no such thing as a cheap Mercedes.
The car needs a new radiator, the headlights weren't wired correctly, it's missing the drivers window, and the sunroof has jumped time. So it's going to keep me busy for a bit...

All issues aside, the body is pretty clean aside from the hood and the engine runs alright for 193k miles.
Diagnoses is a new rear axle for the diesel.
Subaru runs okay, but think the IACV is still gummed up. Going to go back to the hotter plugs, now that it has the lean issue fixed.
Sold my LG G2, ordered a S5 Active for $160, using my cheap work phone for now.
I like 190e's but mostly because I love the cosworth.
