Huh, I always thought that parking lot collisions were 50/50 fault almost no matter what. Dumb.
Here it's whoever is backing up has to yield, so if you back into someone, you're basically always at fault.
That's how it is here in VA, too. But in this case, both vehicles were reversing, which makes it kind of tricky. I personally would say they're both at fault, so no one owes any one else's damages: but I'm not a cop and I'm not a lawyer, so my opinion is void. Plus, here in VA, a cop actually can't write a ticket about vehicle collisions in a private parking lot. Only on public roads.
If one of the cars are stopped they should be in the clear though. It's difficult to prove of course, but if you're stopped you kinda can't crash into something.
Just another reason to back into parking spaces though.
Agreed. I always reverse. But I'm weird for an American. Unfortunately, it's a guilty until proven innocent situation when you're both backing up. Unless your vehicle is still in the parking spot clearly having been parked there and not moved.
Thats bullshit, he ran into you. I'd contest it if I were you.
okay, i don't really post in this thread at all, but i'm at a loss and need help. i need help figuring out what the hell this car is sitting in a driveway near me (center in pic). the front looks like anything ordinary but the rear is what's confused my friend
if the quality is too low i can probably go back there and get a better picture

That looks like the entire car would break in half if it went over a pothole.

that's the idea.
it's probably on bags anyway
what are aa's thoughts on the new ford explorer
asking for a family member
Do you know what trim level they're looking at? Explorers and Suburbans can get crazy expensive really fast. Depending on how much they're looking to spend, I'd have to recommend the new XC90. My family's had suburbans as long as I can remember. They got an XC90 in February and its amazing. Fast, good looking, luxurious, tech that can only be outclassed by Tesla. The big SUVs are more expensive than you'd think.
Speaking of Tesla's, I've been seeing a ton of them around now. Last year there was one in the city for sure and now I'm seeing S and X all over.
And I love it

I still haven't seen one locally, but I see them all the damn time in mobile. honestly they're pretty drab things even if they are fast
I see a model s at least once a week. Haven't seen a model x yet.
Going to shooting range.
I might have more money in guns than this truck costs.... by only one gun. Whoops. [del] Time to see what this barrett hype train is about.[/del] I can't disclose this information sorry.
I will only be teaching kids how to shoot .22lr with my little knockoff ar15 shit for gun. Should be a fun day. Might shoot a cannon or somthing idk.
Generic fuck should come.
I trashed the NSX for a show tomorrow, lol.

I've just started seeing the X now, it's pretty cool. I see the S about once a day though.
I totally agree with you, @clutch2 . In my opinion, vinyl wrap is much more practical and gives awesome look to your car. My vinyl wrap project was installed by Gatorwraps and I am very satisfied!

Enjoy. I'm actually heading to a gun show this weekend thanks to having a better pay check than expecting. If it wasn't for paying for a new Lower Control Arm, I'd probably be buying me a reloading bench and a new handgun.

I can spit and hit like 5 here in Oslo. It's insane.
los angeles is also filling up with model s, very happy about that
First Tesla I ever saw in person and got to mess with was smashed in the passenger side.
Dude that owned it was, by no means saying lightly, fucking stupid loaded.
I saw my second Tesla, a Model p85d, just a few days ago. Both Teslas were like a pearl white
I see them pretty often in Dallas. I was in Chicago a couple weeks ago and I talked to the Tesla store in this really nice mall. Lady I talked to told me I should buy "the cheap" model S, lol. I'm planning on getting an Audi S5 or TTS, they end where the Model S starts...noooope
I cleaned my pistons with a pressure cooker...

Worked pretty good.
I also cleaned one in Chem-Dip. The Chem-Dip one is beautiful and the other 5 are clean from the pressure cooker but they are dull looking. The one from the Chem-Dip is shiny as fuck. I need to take a picture of it.

I fucked up muh radiator, it doesnt hold water anymore
I was driving through a pasture with a washing machine hanging out of the trunk, for rifle shootin purposes, and I thought I remembered the rock-less path from last year, but the grass was much much higher this time, and whaddya know, I hit a 2 foot tall rock that lifted my front axle off the ground and turned my radiator into a yard sprinkler. I turned it around and got it most of the way top my friends house when I ran out of water. I told friend #1 to ride my minibike back to the house and bring his car back with some water so I could get my car back there. After 10 minutes of sitting around waiting, friends #2 and #3 drove down there to see what the hell was taking so long. Turns out friend #1 was sitting on his ass, after calling friend #4 and telling him to go pull my car back, and not informing me or friends #2 or #3. So, friend #1 didnt want to get water in his $4000 90s civic so he leaves me waiting. Friend #2 brings me a 5 gallon bucket of water in his $40,000 BMW. Pretty damn easy to see who my real friends are and whos a stupid ausbergers asshat.
Good thing about a crown vic though, radiators are cheap as truck stop hookers.

My AC condenser is pretty bent but it doesnt leak, Im hoping I wont need to get another one.
I sold the Camaro yesterday. Nice fellow from ND came and grabbed it, we shot the shit, and he had a buddy drive it home for him. He said he wants to finish it for sure and keep it nice, thank god. It was funny, he asked if I had any receipts from the work I had done on it and when I grabbed the thick stack of receipts out of the center console his jaw dropped. I just hope he doesn't wrap it around a tree.
I know that thing was really problematic and finicky, but damn do I miss it already. At least the MR2 is paid off now and I've got a decent bit of spending cash.
Why do you people keep taking vehicles into fields that you know can't overcome obstacles.
You're always going to hit something.

The same reason it's fun to race shitboxes.
