What model TVR is THAT?
Reminds me of the older Tuscan Speed 6.
Which I <3 dearly.
I rented a chrysler 200 when I went to orlando a few months ago. Its really not good at anything. Boring as hell, featureless, soulless, and generic.
I rented one when they first launched and god damn they were awful cars. Rode in a pretty new one a bit ago and they haven't gotten much better.

btw that's the 1st time i see tvr in indonesia, the closest sighting was years ago in malaysia, saw a white chimaera drove past by
God damn the cars here in Stockholm are nice. Down the street it goes like Bentley, i8, lime green lambo, Ferrari, Porsche. The fucker in the lime green lambo is just doing circles though around the area and stalls out every time he hits a traffic interruption :v:
I forgot I had placed a jerrycan behind my car when I fired it up again in 4 months or so :v:

Woooow. This whole time I thought I was getting a bad reading on my car's oil level. Nope. My sister actually filled it to twice the maximum measure on the dipstick.
why
[editline]15th August 2016[/editline]
I have an old dipstick stuck in the bottom of my oil pan. When I go to change my oil, should I bother removing the pan and getting it out or is it even worth looking at? I don't know what goes on in the oil pan and if the dipstick will interact with it. It's been running fine for a while like this, but I just get scared that it'll fuck something up.
I would go ahead and drop the pan just to be safe. You might also be able to grab it with a magnet and pull it to the drain
I don't think it'd be a problem but I wouldn't want to find out either way

Mmm, good thumbnail choice.
So I had to be at work at 5am today, the past 36 hours it's been just raining, from downpour for 5 or 6 hours to a mist, then back. So my 10ish miles to work was just flooded, well half way to work, my car seemed to start shaking and at idle the engine felt like it got a big ass cam. It's a 93 v6 camry. I think going through all the water caused 1 or 2 things, possibly both. I think one, all that water killed one or so of my spark plugs, because even my car has a different more lumpy sound to it and 2, I am not to familiar with it or if it could even happen but could of all that flood water get water in the gas? I doubt it but not ruling it out. I just don't feel a massive performance drop, if any at all.

is it true about the factory being occupied with tons of its chassis?

guys guys guys
My body screams yes but my brain says no no no no.
Opinions on fixing that rust? Probably would bring it to the shop if the rest of the car is fine. But this is all hypothetical anyway, I blame it on the itch to drive my '86. :v:

there used to be left over shells but i havent been that way in a while and the walls are pretty high
the fronts of the factory are used for other things now and theres a gym and stuff there. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.8496624,-3.0310188,3a,75y,202.17h,80.34t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1scAEI5fhA3pQRqpyP2PODeg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1
one of my university lecturers was an engine guru at tvr and helped design the tuscan's speed six engine and helped develop its lemans debut iirc

I don't know enough on those to say, but if the subframe is swappable, it shouldn't be a hard fix.

I love having mine, it's one of those things you just don't see anymore. It's also an original 6.2 Litre Diesel ornament, very rare.

Yeah you probably sucked up some water through the intake. Ive done it a few times before. Seeing as its not a low tolerance engine, it should be fine. Replace your soggy air filter, dry out the intake, change the oil, and change the plugs. After that it may chug and blow a little white smoke, but after you rev it up a little and drive it a few miles it should go back mto normal. Running some seafoam through it wouldnt hurt.
huh, well right after that video I went for a test drive. Its still running way to rich so spark-plugs 1&2 are fucked. Got to remove the carbs again and start tweaking them some more
So yesterday was an interesting car-guy day. Started of with seeing a Diablo with big-ass wing, a bunch of older Fords, some kind of 911 with a wing, two i8s, a Lambo Huracan(?), and finally wrapped it up with this:

Doesn't look like it is from the picture and the fact he said the words metal fabricator. Looks kinda like the rear subframe on a Honda except in the front with front end parts, it's totaled unless you have a lot of money or a lot of time and skill with a welder.
Caught up in a bad catch 22.
We won't pay to have the other guys bumper fixed until we see a quote from the dealer so we know to pay with cash or involve insurance.
They won't show us a quote from the dealer until they know if we're paying out of pocket or with insurance.
I can't find a way out of this madness. It's gone back and forth 5 times now with no resolution.
All cops speed everywhere.
Nah man. Cops never speed. Ever. They just tail gate speeders until they go the right speed. Right?
cops around here tend to not speed just because if they pull in behind someone that person will slow from 15 over the limit to 10 undet
