Make a new one out of perspex, they wont know the difference. By all definition it's still a windshield :ok:
Could always go down to Richmond. It's a poorly kept secret that you can buy your full license from one of the crooked chinese ICBC centers there.
As long as its not walmart, it cant be too shameful.
he wont go back to that place
ahhh, I forgot the joys of owning an old BMW fresh $2000 bill from the shop! worth it, though...fixed a naaasty oil leak and spruced that old girl up real nice-like! I'll take a bunch of pics this afternoon/evening....she's a beaut.
I'd say try and find a sweet 330i. The rest is boring :v:
my 323i was good enough for me, 330 would be nice but im having trouble finding a nice one local to me and I need a car asap.
Went to my first small open car meet this week. In true classy UK style it was in a supermarket car park :v:. Went along side with my friend who was in the 350Z. Was pretty fun, someone even turned up in an Aston Martin DB9. Current ones are squeaking like crazy and throwing up warnings on start up.
I got a little bit of work yesterday. [t]http://puu.sh/nnhUw.jpg[/t]
A subaru legacy is just a bigger impreza hatch, no? Both of them have risen to the top of my vehicle consideration list.
A standard Legacy hatch vs standard Impreza hatch, the Legacy is basically just larger with more room. You also have the Legacy outback models, Impreza outback Sport models, etc. Which have much bigger differences. [editline]27th February 2016[/editline]
I have a 2002 Impreza TS and can confirm it's the tits even though it's slow as dirt
It really shouldn't be slow. Even at 250k miles, my '99 OBS isn't slow. Are all the fluids (front diff, rear diff, trans, engine) and filters (engine, fuel, trans) up to date? Have you done emissions maintainence (PCV valve, IACV cleaning, throttle body cleaning)? Coil pack/coils and wires up to date, as well as running NGK plugs?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/r4QxmKU.jpg[/t] $700 later ;-;
Looks pretty good. I have to do something with the hood on my diesel eventually. I'd like a cowl or scoop, in a muscle truck style, but i can't have the cooling affect in winter. The original hood has a few marks that almost look like hail damage, as well as other scars.
Does this piston still look good? I'm thinking about changing them out to hypereutectic pistons if they're worn out. Looks like the anti-friction coating is gone on both sides. Working on a thing... tacking it together to take to a real welder because I suck... lalala. I only have the main 90s on the top tacked, the rail which is going to provide support for the downpipe then the extra is getting cut off. The 45s make the piping swoop too low so I think I'm going to replace them all with gradual 90s. Welding! the only thing I am somewhat good at,what process you using?
I'm an oxy fuel kind of guy. I can't even begin to tell you how many cars I've lit on fire just doing something simple like welding the floor pans
Picked up a 5 speed 4x4 1994 12 valve cummins for $1000!! It needs its share of love, but I couldn't pass up the deal. Its straight piped out the side to a funky 8 inch tip and the sound... my god, this thing needs a 3-balled truck nutz from the back [thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsdvf6n4pf.jpeg[/thumb]
Valon, I cannot figure out how you get all these fucking awesome deals. Swap that motor into a Dart.
oh boy a 6bt in a dart. Thats an idea that gives my brain a boner.
I think the yin-yang of my life requires I have 2 dodge trucks at all time... I tried, my god I tried to get rid of them all and here I am back at two. I popped open facebook yesterday and it -oh-so-conviently- had a post about this truck at the EXACT same time so I was the first to respond The other vehicles, idk, spidey-sense for deals! I think the cummins engine alone is as long as the fenders on the dart, I'd have to cut out the firewall I'll measure tomorrow for shits n giggles
Obviously you should talk to whatever shop this guy bought

Does anyone know where I can get a wiring scheme for a BMW 5 series E12? I've found schemes for 528i but I need a scheme for a 520 Never mind, I found one
Well the manual swap on the Slaab turned out to cost quite a bit more than I was expecting, but they basically rebuilt the entire car. I've been assured that it's an absolutely new car now, but I'll have to wait for tax money to come in before I can pick it up.
omg this "recruiter" (not military) is fucking annoying. Every fucking day he sends out a automated email saying "Timothy are you still interested I attempted to call you." and awhole lot more BS ontop of that too. But I never got a call.

Finally finished the second vette logo since the first one didn't fit correctly due to weird offset holes I didn't notice: [t]http://i.imgur.com/bDsv1Ie.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/jbPxr6T.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/FIPGZaW.jpg[/t]
And the weekly wheel of crown vic maintenance has landed on... Exhaust leeeeaaaaak!
just do what I do and develop an incredible tolerance for carbon monoxide, way easier than brazing it shut [editline]28th February 2016[/editline] if you know the rules you're allowed to break them
Well I mean theres no more hole in the floor pan, so..... as long as the deadly gas is outside the car and not inside, it should be fine, right? I dont exactly know where it is yet, but I can hear it when the engine is under load. It sounds like from just behind the engine, which isnt really surprising because the exhaust manifolds have so much rust and barnacles on them, I think they were originally installed on the Titanic.
Garage is nice and clean and I finally had a chance to ruin my rear bumper drilling out my license plate bolts so I could clean it and toss the new tags on it since it's been 2 years since I picked it up apparently. Cleaned the interior thoroughly too, nice and clean again. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/2016-02-28%2015.58.34.jpg[/t]
