Coats...65. You people are crazy.
Shorts and t-shirt weather here. Coats?!
I'm typing this sitting in my now road legal Supra in some suburb!!! Holy hell this fucker draws attention.
Shorts and t-shirt weather here. Coats?!
Its like when my aunt visits from Vietnam in march and she's in a full down winter coat because 72 is goddamn freezing compared to where she lives. Its adorable really.
Here are some photos with the newly acquired license plates. We took off the front mount bracket, so it's really dirty and you can see where it's been sitting, so I have to clean that up soon. Trucks + chunks of asphalt on the road = sad me [t]https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/12823354_10207086226408947_3377524800475828215_o.jpg[/t]
So Mazda is unveiling something new at the New York Auto Show next week. Rumors abound, but maybe a hard top MX5?
Has anyone made a replacement front fascia to give the new Miata some less angry headlights?
Logical progression of the car considering how many people seek out the fastback hardtop to put on theirs.
If you ask me, a hard top MX5/Miata would be the right route. Maybe do seperate hard/soft top models. It'd for sure help with the hair dresser issue.
My friend recorded a short video when I dropped him off today:
I was expecting a limiter bashing 3-gear ripping burnout :(
So Mazda is unveiling something new at the New York Auto Show next week. It constituted 50% of the NC's sales so I'd be surprised if they totally forwent a PRHT for this generation. I'd still also really like to see a removable hardtop for the ND.
So this is semi car related, but me and a buddy of mine went to this like, kid place (Arcade) Cause they have really cheap gokart prices and so we paid for 2 laps, a total of 10 dollars and its about 5 dollars a lap. So we had SOME fun, not really anything to brag about, these things went like, hell probably 15-20 tops, the track was kind of cool but after that, we craved more. WE were thinking about going for another lap, then I googled gokarts in my area and found a place called PolePosition, we went there and my god I spent nearly 100$ there, 28 your first time, then 23 after that forever, and my god. These gokarts were electric and did 65mph and it was a fucking blast. I t-boned some guy who spun out in front of me and I have a horrible rash on my neck and shoulder from the harness, plus I feel whiplashed as a mother fucker, 20/10 will definitelygladly waste more and more money there.

A long time ago when I was young and my dad was working in Las Vegas he'd bring me there when I went on meetings. I did so many races there I ended up being the third highest ranked all-time racer they had at that location. Which Pole Position did you go to?

The best track time I got was 30.5, the record of the week there was 28 so I guess for a first time isn't too terribly bad.
So this whole liquid wrap thing is looking like a go. We've got our test car, a mid 00's Audi A4. It's silver with a little paint peeling that needs attention to stop it from rusting. A perfect victim. The plan is bright orange base coat followed by a nice orange metallic pearl coat, followed by the crowning jewel, a layer of gold ice pearl. Should be gorgeous. If all goes well I'm even willing to shoot a pearl coat on the NSX I think.. I love the idea of getting some custom paint in the mix but still being able to go back to the OEM paint underneath. This weather needs to warm up stat.
I'm looking to buy my first car, I found this 1996 Volvo 960 with only 96000 miles on it. I test drove it a few days ago and I'm going to have a mechanic look at it tomorrow. It's old yes, but it looked and ran ok. Am I making a mistake? I've tested about 4 other cars that were newer, but they had a lot of miles on them and you could really tell. Even though the volvo was 10 years older than the others I looked at it was in the best shape.

I'd take an old Volvo with less than 100k in good condition over almost anything when it comes to reliability. If it's leak free and all the wearables aren't in bad shape / doesn't pose any concerns I'd go for it.

Especially up here in Denver, with all the extra UV we get. [editline]16th March 2016[/editline] And looking at the Mazda website, the PRHT was less than $2000 more than the soft top. I'd wager it costs a bit more this time around because they'll be doing some tweaking to keep the weight down.
So I snagged this AiM EVO3 data-logging set for 50 bucks :v: These sets costs a fucking ton! Also with some additional beacon module and extra sensors

When I was in Bulgaria this past Summer, we found a go-kart place in the basement parking garage of a mall. It was super cheap, and they probably went about 45-50, they were gas too lol. Lots and lots of fun.

Someone popped the LT Autoride badges of both sides of our Tahoe. Why would someone do that? :why:
