Is my ep3 trashed? I'm pretty sure it's ruined
So it's been getting cold here finally, it's started to snow, I pulled into my driveway, looking at my ep3, dreaming how I can't wait to drive it when it's all purdy outside and warm, then panic sets in. Did I flush out the radiator when I put the new one in to test it?
I went and checked it, opened the rad cap and it was a bit slushie, the top hose felt frozen, pretty sure it's mostly frozen :suicide:
I'm not touching it until spring now, but does it still have a chance of cracking anything if I just let it sit or will it only be when I start it? Cause honestly, if anything else breaks....:surrender: I'm just going to fucking part it out on craigslist and get me something else :saddowns:
The Eclipse wasn't rust free as promised.. offered him $500 and he said no. Oh well :)
Here's the R32.. so so so cool.

I'm thinking that R32s might dip in price in a few years when the R33 becomes available for import here in the US.. then is the time!

[editline]19th January 2016[/editline]
Or drain all the liquid you can, fill with full strength anti freeze, wait a day, start it and let it run?

I cant believe this is real
"bubb rubb says they go woop woop, we better interview this guy"
I'm glad it doesn't freeze here. It just rains for weeks at a time.
Looking at storing my car at a proper place and using it as a weekend/show car. This means I'll need a sensible car D: (barely know what that means) so I'm thinking either:
Saab 9-3 1.9 TTiD4
or
Volvo S40 1.6
Anyone had either of them or any experience?
I'm heavily considering the Saab just because it looks better inside and out.

WHYYYY
You just have to be overly protective of her. And if you do get a better DD just get a equally as pretty v12 jag or something. Inshurance company gotta love you.
Jesus fuck this cold ass weather. Decided to do a little longer drive to try get inside temperature hot enough to melt the ice off the windows. Nope, 50km later still have rear windows frozen and some snow on the floor because couldn't even set it to blow on the floor because windows would freeze over in a minute
[editline]20th January 2016[/editline]
good thing that the battery is good, have had no problems starting so far

Sweet cream cheese on a platter, my truck does amazing snow donuts. Just put it in second and it spins like a top.
also, now I can use the "jeep parking" spots in the winter.
I never realized how much i missed dd'ing a 4wd.

I'm looking at 2010 onwards and I don't think I could bring myself to get an audi or BMW after all the shit I give them!

Do you need much luggage space? You can get a 2013+ 1.0 ecoboost fiesta for not a lot of money, those are sensible. Theres the focus too if you neeed more space which you can get with a 1.0 ecoboost and they are a good engine for the application, plus theyre good cars overall

Saab all the way, my had one, and it's so damn comfortable. We drove it from Denmark to Oslo (10 hour drive) without a problem. It's my sensible dream car.
[editline]20th January 2016[/editline]
It even started in -30, -40 weather, without a problem, while other cars died.

Did you make a video of a Dodge Rampage DC?
So I'm coming to grips with the fact that my Mercedes has never been daily driver material, so I'm also in the market for a 2010 or newer car to retire the old ship. Price point is $10k or less with 75k miles or less, must be non turbo (unless if it's a Saab). I prefer euro cars, but I will not be buying a second Benz. Needs to be a gasoline only (might consider some pure EVs though) 4 door sedan or 5 door hatch that I can fit all of my posessions minus furniture into. Must be 2WD, with a manual transmission. Rear seat legroom is also a must. And finally, it must be a car that I won't hate in 3 years or leave me so broke that I can't reseal everything on the MB.
So what do you guys think I should buy and why?
