I know the 35i VW Passats were available with heavy-duty suspension components for police and taxi use, along with original interior pieces for both of those roles.

Does anyone in the midwest / Wisconsin area go to the Iola Car Show? My GM today just told me we (Geek Squad) are going to have a booth there. Big surprise for me, but she said to round up a good handful of cars that are nice and modified in a way like we do at the shop... So I'm going to bring in the Civic with pop out TV, the NSX with stock-look system, Eclipse with big ass system, Eclipse with clean air ride setup, and a Camaro with mild-trunk build. Should be sweet. Amazing chance for PR. If anyone's going come say sup.
free freakin' springs So today, one of my deliveries tipped me with FREE GOD DAMN LOWERING SPRINGS for my miata. He told me that he owned 6 miatas prior to his current Mazda 3 and that he works with one of the clubs I just got introduced to (Orlando Roadsters) and one of the shops that sponsors their meets. He also gave me 5 bucks on top of that. I'm still in shock to be quite honest. I hope these things aren't too low, I don't want to lay frame.
You've gotta link directly to the image, like this: http://i.imgur.com/fRURWvg.jpg

I've got to drive through the boring shithole of South Minnesota to get to the promised land of cheese and beer. Eeeehhhhh, maybe. Probably not though.
Replaced the brakepads today. What a fucking mess The last brakejob this car had was like 10 years ago
Went to the other local Mazda dealer yesterday, and they offered me $6000 for my car. The hell with that, I just put it up on Craigslist...

Speaking of scooters and stuff... She bought it new at the factory in Milan and rode it across Europe with her husband for 8 months, shipped it back to the USA, and stashed it away in the garage. This thing has been sitting for over half a century, but it's complete and really cool. DPkiller, where-for art thou? I need your RC help with something. Basically how do i wire a tank. But if anyone's interested in what I'm doing besides working on my car - which I should be doing, It's This
i hope the owner of that supra was forced to sand blast that 12 year old flaming skull shit off the hood
Reminds me off when I loaded my old Need for Speed Underground 2 save file and saw that every car I made had shitty flames and spinners because I thought it looked fast when I was 11.
Miata is back to sparking up again. Guess the main relay was loose/bad, and the wiring for the cam position/angle sensor was partly at fault as well. The coil wasn't getting power essentially.
i hope the owner of that supra was forced to sand blast that 12 year old flaming skull shit off the hood
The fact it has a nice big subwoofer in the back means there's a high chance little was done to that car to make it fast or nimble. Those rims look pretty big, but at least they have aerodynamic side mirrors!

Going to try and test drive a lot of sedans next week; hitting all the major brands. Really looking hard at the Mazda 6 and the Subaru lineup. The 99 Blazer has been given its 1-year notice. Dont know if I'm going to retain it or sell it, but it will not be driven daily anymore come summer 2017. Its been good to me but I need to downsize and get some MPG's back. I really want to be impressed by this Mazda 6.

It had a NES in the trunk aswell :v:
So i'm having trouble removing old paint from shallow crevices in this textured piece of steel I have. using steel wool and pain stripper doesn't really have an effect. Would soaking soaking it in brake fluid for an hour and then pressure washing it be fine? I know brake fluid can induce rust but it should be fine for that short while right? any other better ideas? naked flames? I don't want to sand it and lose the texture.
So having this odd issue... When I accelerate, my car pulls to the left. When I let off the gas, it goes back...but kind of overcompensates a bit. Happens most noticeably when I am doing over 40mph. Is this an alignment issue?
wheel balancing maybe?
That has to do with alignment right? I did have my front right tire looked at to make sure there wasn't a slow leak (noticed the air was low). I watched the guy, all he touched was that wheel and it was put back on properly. The tread on both front tires is low, though. Does that have anything to do with it?
