Silver is by far the hardest, yes. But any light color close to silver is too.
Hey guys, wanna hear something nuts?
I hold onto my Geo Tracker one more year and remove any of the extras I put on the car and it becomes eligible for Collectors plates. I never thought I'd see the day. :v:

Seems like a bit of a strict list.
The bumper on my truck, an original GM military bumper, would get my truck excluded from the sounds of it.
And it would be tough to keep it from getting any scratches, dents, etc.
My daily driving habits alone scratch my bumpers (pushing carts out of the way, pushing trash cans out of the way, etc) though I did equip a tough military bumper for a reason.
any non OEM parts would DQ it... wow.
I have collector plates on my '72 Chevy pickup, and it's got a fair amount of non-oem stuff, namely a chrome billet grille.
This is why I like Texas. Get your car registered as a antique or classic vehicle and run your year of licence plates as your licence plates.
Simple to tell your vehicles year. And looks cool.
"Use of 'Old' License Plates: If you own license plates that are the same year as the classic vehicle, you have the option of using old
plates instead of new Classic specialty plates, if the plates pass examination. The old license plates must be examined at your local
County Tax Assessor-Collector's office or a TxDMV Regional Service Center before submitting this application. The old license plates
must be original plates in good, readable condition and have the same color scheme as the original Texas license plates."
The only stipulation for collectors plates here is you can't use it as a daily driver
any ideas on pricing?
its all gonna vary and I still do not have the exact shipping cost, but I think it should be $75-$225 shipped to your door. Ill send everyone who asked info when they get here.

They say that everywhere but people do it anyway...

I'd be interested but there's US - UK shipping and then customs on top of that :frown:

Look out, they've changed their spark plugs before. They're ready to jump into electrical now!

Just need to get the lowering kit installed, but that'll have to wait until my mate got time to help me next weekend.
Every time I go to purchase new shoes I am stunned on how expensive they are. $156 for two pairs good god.

Depending which size I decide on next, it'll either be $150-200 per tire; or $230+ per tire on my truck.
285/75/16 or 255/85/16, load range D/E.
my adidas were on sale for £50 pretty good if i may say so

[editline]29th April 2016[/editline]
my reef flip flops were like $30
anyone have clear bras?
Payless shoe source, $35 and they last a good year+ for the gym and outdoor stuff.
The most I've ever spent on boots are my cowboy boots I wear every day. $215, but they're made in Canada, real leather, and it was a little boot store run by the grand wizard german boot master.
[editline]29th April 2016[/editline]
My sube had a 3m clear bra, couldnt even tell it was there and the paint held up really well (which is unheard of considering the damn cars are painted with crayons)

I spent $280 of my work's money on Redwing boots, I still have them. The sole and lining ripped out of one. Then I spent $180 on cheaper Redwing boots, and the little loops that hold the laces on broke so the lace starts at the bottom, then jumps up to the ankle and ties. That's it. Terrible.

You do know that redwing will replace them free of charge, right. Assuming you bought authentic ones.
Edit- or they used to. Now its just a limited warranty (12mo)
I wonder if redwing will replace my boots. I wore a hole in the side.

Damn it
Ain't silver a pain in the ass to 'paint match', due to the original color slightly fading over time?
Good news is the whole car is getting a color change!
Blending becomes paramount, though, to get a color match almost no matter what. Unless you're working on a hardcore budget or something a paintshop will almost blend into the adjacents depending on the repair.
The Gunman on youtube has some phenomenal videos of him just painting stuff for collision repairs, which is where the blends are used on like every job.
He's awesome;

Tornado touched down .5 miles from my house.
Every tree near the road thought it would be a good idea to fall into the road. It took 4 hrs with two crews working twords each other to make a 2 lane road a 1 lane a ambulance could pass.
I wonder if any stores near me would give discounted rates buying a new chainsaw. Mine decided to have a failure and throw it's rod away. Silly chainsaw you need that! Stihl. Oldasfuck - 2016
Ask your neighbors before trying to buy one. They will be hella expensive, not cheaper.

They don't replace anymore. And yeah I had them fit and bought at a specifically redwing only store.

You still never painted my car from my dream. So I'm gonna need you to fly to CA to help me paint my actual car. Call it restitution.
