I didn't think windows could scratch that easily with a scouring pad. I also used a shaving razor in place of the other razor to clean up some stickers and now my car windows are full of micro and giant scratches. so there's not much wrong with aftermarket windows right?? I think I might need a replacement
That's still better than my mate's S60. He's got metal shavings implanted in his windows somehow... Fucking previous owners.
Neon R/T's wreck face because they're crazy light, have a huge aftermarket (most mods are junkyard parts), great 3-speed and 5-speed, and the 2.0L and 2.4L make awesome power. The main thing is, they're cheap as fuck. You can pick up a Neon coupe for usually $500.
Can anyone help me with a problem? My 1978 Kadett's engine cuts out when coming to a stop. More precisely, it cuts out the second you give it some throttle. The engine works great otherwise. Any ideas? We're planning on rebuilding the carburator, maybe that'll fix it.
You could possibly have clogged jets. Or your fuel bowl needle and seat are not allowing the proper amount of fuel in because the float is not set correctly. Is it a weber carb or what? That'll give me an idea of how I can tell you to adjust the float. But usually you take the bowl off and hold it upside down and adjust the float level till it sits level.
Hmmm 2014 BMW M4 for only 20k. http://www.raceautotekoop.nl/overzicht/detail.php?id=2522 Wish I had the cash, I'd pull the engine (for the racecar) and part it out
yeah keep the engine for yourself (maybe swap into an e30? that would be rad) and part out the rest and you could probably make your money back hell that's probably an easy $1800 just in wheels and tires. idk what tires it takes but if it's the same that was on my '08 M6 I paid 2 grand every new set god damn I miss my M6, you don't know fun if you haven't joined the 200mph club [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] and 0-60 in 3 flat on a race gas tune will tickle you in all the right ways
someone crowdfund me im entitled to a M4
and then it costs $214 to change the oil yourself every 1500 miles. paying for the tag, no biggie, insurance, ok, but I got maybe 3000 miles out of a set of $2000 tires and between that and oil changes spending $4500 a month minimum just on regular maintenance was killing me if I was to keep it it would have had to be just a weekend racer, dailying an m6 when you work out of state costs an arm and a dick
it's your evap system. could be a bad unit, could be the line from the tank to the unit is full of gunk or spiders. some pump designs don't have any trouble with it, some do.
Assuming I know nothing about how it works, but would like to try to diagnose/repair it myself; what are somethings to look for to figure out what's wrong and how to correct said issue?
Nope. The only thing required by law where I am is a motorcycle license (test and road course), and eye protection of any kind.
It varies from state to state. Here in California you are required to wear a helmet. At the very least a brain bucket. I ALWAYS wear a full-face helmet, gloves, boots, and a jacket. The people who say "IT EFFECTS MUH VISABULITY" are retarded. It's been proven through multiple studies that the reduction in peripheral vision is so minute that it's practically nonexistent. If I drop my bike and my head hits the ground, I can't even imagine what my face would look like sliding across the pavement. Full face helmets are for people who actually care about their health.

Went on a cruise yesterday with some friends and acquaintances.
"some" :v:
Tore out the seats in the town car, so much fucking garbage. I get embarrassed having enough trash in my car to warrant a shopping bag. I filled up two kitchen sized trash bags with all the shit in this thing. [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] I wanted the carpet but I don't know if I'll be able to clean it lol
Went on a cruise yesterday with some friends and acquaintances.
Which one's yours?
I always wear gloves and 99% of the time a helmet but I only wear my jacket if I know I'm going to be flogging it. I never wear riding boots, just the regular work boots I usually wear.
Went on a cruise yesterday with some friends and acquaintances.
I actually want to know what car that is at the very end.
I actually want to know what car that is at the very end.
not easy to tell from the photo. at first glance I thought it was a golf but now you got me second guessing
Buy it, get a radiator put on, then cut it up and make an M4 Kart.....
I suddenly need $20k...
(Hopefully) Picking up this baby tomorrow Rebuilt motor with only 3k on it currently. Took forever to find such a clean AW11 on CL. Not a bad price either, $2,000 This RCR review may or may not have been a push in the direction of buying it :v:
I average 6000 miles a month, and any car with a 5 liter V10 costs some serious dollars to keep on the road
Does your job subsidize your fuel costs or something? If you're putting on >70k miles a year you gotta be running through fuel - and cars - at an alarming rate.
Does your job subsidize your fuel costs or something? If you're putting on >70k miles a year you gotta be running through fuel - and cars - at an alarming rate.
maybe hes a taxi driver
If I can get a BMW M6 as a taxi maybe I would bother getting one
Does your job subsidize your fuel costs or something? If you're putting on >70k miles a year you gotta be running through fuel - and cars - at an alarming rate.
fuel costs weren't subsidized but I was paid by the hour for driving to and from location. so at $25 an hour say 12 miles per gallon at 60 mph that's 4 gallons of gas I'm getting $25. in 08-09 prices that covers it with a few bucks left over. they round up too, so if it takes me an hour and 5 minutes to get there I would get paid for 2 hours of driving. even more bucks left over a car usually lasts me about 5 years. I'm good about maintenance and know how to fix them when they break so once I put 300k on them (on top of the mileage when I bought it, though the M6 was new-ish, was barely broken in when I got it) is when I tend to get rid of them. the M6 lasted me 60,000 miles before I got fed up with maintenance costs and electrical issues, so I sold it for $70,000 after about a year. subtract that from the $90,000 price of the car when I bought it and add $45,000 in oil and tires and the thing cost me about $55,000 for a year of driving and it was so fucking worth it I was working as an audio engineer at the time, mostly running live sound in Alabama, Louisiana, and South Mississippi but also doing mixing and mastering/etc.
