It doesn't hurt, but the bruises might be uncomfortable later. Getting hit in the hands and neck, or in the nuts are the worst.
I once went paintballing and someone rushed the barrier behind which I was hiding. Thinking I got ambushed, I popped off two shots at the guy. Turns out it was teammate retreating, and it also turns out he didn't appreciate getting shot in the inner thigh at point blank.
Holy fuck, for you pussies saying it hurt, I went today, and tbf it was boring, but sitll somewhat scary @ the fear of being hit.
All in all, its shit imo.
Although i really like the speedball, we were on this hayball map, and i surrended 1 guy and shot 3 :v:

Only if they are frozen will it really hurt. If they aern't, it will still hurt a little cause a plastic ball is being fired at you at high speeds and it is breaking on your skin.
Freezing paintballs doesn't make them hurt.
Paintball is quite expensive but good fun to go every once in a while

Frozen paintballs are such a huge myth. Sure you can freeze them but you couldnt hit someone if your life depended on it because they become so inaccurate when they are frozen.

Well today was a windy motherfucking day, and the paintballs were flying all over the kip. But there this one guy holed up in a house, half of his body in , half out, and im in a house a fair distance away from him, i shoot 3 bullets, all aiming at him,the wind picks them up and brings them to the left, and im like , fuck man, but then the wind changes and they pelt him by curling to the right.
When i saw that hand go up i was all :smug:
I went Paintballing once, for my friend's birthday, about a year ago.
On the final course (Which was an every-man-for-himself course), we found a kid writhing in pain on the floor, he'd been shot RIGHT on one of his balls.
He ended up vomiting and stuff, but not before me and each of my friends took a pot-shot at him and ran off.

Calling paintballs bullets is just another way of making paintball look worse.
The dictionary has a bullet as A metal projectile in the shape of a pointed cylinder that is expelled from a firearm, especially a rifle or handgun.
Something that a paintball is none of.

I've been in a couple of games. It only really hurts if you get hit at close range. Even then it's only like a towel whip. Also, a few tips:
Don't think you can hit that guy in the tower, because you can't.
You should train if you're really going to get into this. Go out in the woods somewhere and practice your aiming.
Don't think you can get that huge tacticool sniper-rifle that other guy has, because it usually costs 1 to 2K.

The fill freezing would take a very very long time. and the shell gets so warped from from the freezing you couldnt hit anything anyways.

There was a bunch of controversy here awhile back because some poor guy had a heart attack on his way home from a game of paintball and the newspaper articles were all titled, "Man dies playing Paintball".
Sometimes I think that's just utterly disrespectful.

Airsoft sucks. Me and my friends use BB guns. One of my BB guns also shoots pellets, so that's a piece of metal flying at you at 700 feet per second. Feels good man.
the first time i went i was scared shitless until my friend poked his head up and got a mouthful of paint. then it became fun.
It's fine. Getting hit in the finger doesnt hurt that bad, I go without gloves, allows you to hold the weapon better. Torso hits feel like a strong airsoft shot pretty much. Protect your head though, getting skimmed hurts. Use a durag or bandana.
Also I was paint balling yesterday and some dumbshit rental was fumbling with his gun and shot himself in the thigh, point blank. Another person shot the ref in the hand from like 3 feet.
Seriously, watch out for rentals. They blind fire and hit friendlies, try to shoot over you all the time, and just pretty much kill anything that moves.
