I can honestly see why he gets so mad in Hells Kitchen.
In these videos, he just walks into some shitty failing pubs kitchen, says "here's a new menu, here's how to make it, now get to work." and the first night of new service they make everything perfectly, get everything out on time, and work as an amazing team. there's only 3 of them but they flawlessly produce great food for a whole busy pub
in hells kitchen on the other hand, you have like 12+ "professional" chefs stumbling about and fucking absolutely everything up and even that many people can barely get food out in one restaurant.
it's no wonder he gets so pissed. it really puts it in perspective of how just utterly fucking useless and frustrating the hells kitchen contestants are, not to mention they are all constantly mouthing off.

Not to mention the fact he's been dealing with people like this for the past 7 or so years. I'm surprised he has it in him to put up with it each season.
Not like the people from Kitchen Nightmares are completely understanding, though. There are many restaurants that want to bite Gordon's head off and act like crying children instead of taking his advice.
Honestly if I knew I had Gordon Ramsay to answer to if I fucked up I'd either screw everything out of nervousness or take so much time being careful I wouldn't get anything done.
Not to mention even if you are competent there's probably 3 idiots thrown in to hamper you while Ramsay's assistant chefs scream at you, I cannot imagine Hells Kitchen being anything less than a balls to the wall difficult nightmare.

And I was told the people eating are not actors but rather real people, and there's rumors that food there is free, or you can only dine there when Hell's Kitchen is being filmed.

I don't know about it being a real reastaurant, but the people who go there are definitely not actors. I guess they all take part of some survey and then the producers randomly pick x amount of people who get to dine in the restaurant.
The food is free, because you know, it's usually shit and no one would pay for it.
