I really liked the improved lighting and geometry of the cinematic mod, a lot of the changes didn't make any sense lore wise though, and the sexualization was on a retarded horny 15 year old's level. HL2 had lots of that on it's own, part of the metrocop's pay being virtual sexual stimulation, for instance

Though you can customize it heavily, nobody forces anyone to use the "alternative" models or settings.

Jesus, the original xbox version of the game is the first version of the game I played, as I didn't have a PC at the time, and that thing blew me the fuck away. Now looking at the footage in the video I'm I don't remember it performing that bad. Although that being said the first time I played through the PC version I happily played it on an extremely underpowered laptop that had similar performance to the xbox version, so I think I was much more okay with poor framerates when I was younger.
