English Weed, Shit? - General

i don't see why people from california are so stoked about their weed. you can get similar quality bud pretty much anywhere it's semi-legal and grown medicinally. originally, california weed got its name because it has a great climate for outdoor growing, but once weed goes indoors it really doesn't matter where it's grown. I have no idea why english weed is so shit all the time - you guys have to stop buying shit weed and start telling your dealers to fuck off and find something that'll get you stoned w/ a single pipe bowl because that's all it should ever really take to get a noticeable haze on

Well.. I'm picking up 3G of weed tomorrow at 1.2g a tenner.. I smoked some "Chinky" today, China bud is good around here, not shit, must be different meanings for names. Got me fucked, in a blunt, under a G in it (Well i think so, it was out of a bag containing 2.4 i think) and I got really really stoned, I smoked a lot too, without tobacco I got fucked, but with tobacco the other night where I smoked more I didn't get too high.. I have found my answer.. I'm getting "bubblegum" tomorrow. Should be fun, I'll get a photo

Tobacco intensifies the body-high for me, never really thought about the head-high though... Englander here, it's easy enough to get your hands on dank weed. When I smoke joints (That's, weed with tobacco here), I get high whilst I'm smoking them, but about 5 minutes after I sober up -it's shit, but good if I want to smoke tobacco and weed \:v:/

Being someone who lives half the year in London and Half the year in Los Angeles I have noticed a difference in quality. The problem I have found is that in California the dispensaries and even dealers have varying strengths of weed depending on what you want, whereas in London its generally whatever you are given. What I have also noticed is that you find better weed in different parts of london. For example, Camden is known for drugs and paraphernalia and shit like that, but you should never actually buy weed there, its either shit quality or you will just get ripped off. As you move more central to an area in W1 to NW1 you can find some great quality weed. I am lucky enough to have a dealer that gets his supply by taking the train down to amsterdam every week, so I don't really complain.

west midlands you pick up an 8th of standards/mids for £25, South wales is £20 for an 8th but is known to be contaminated, so when im at uni i dont smoke that often. I go by the "get what youre given" 'cause im not growing yet. generally everything i get is just green, not particularly hairy or smelly bud, picked up some hash a few times but it turned out to be soap bar. God i can't wait to start my grow. i usually pay £20 for 1.4-1.8gs. It's usually chronic or cheese, get about 4 spliffs out of a bag and 1 spliff will sort you for a few hours. He always puts a selection of bags out to let me pick which one I want and sometimes he'll open bags to sort me the best bag (e.g least amount of stalk on buds etc), if he hasn't bagged up he always weighs up in front of me and it's always top notch stinky stuff, sometimes I've had to keep it in the car to not stink my room and the hallway out. I smoke joints, and will generally roll around 6-10 joints out of one bag depending on who I'm with. If I'm round my mates, roll them fatter, if I'm just with my bird or on my own don't roll them as fat. As long as a single joint doesn't cost much more than a pint I'm happy.

It's a common thing around here to have tops or heady bud. Then we also have the regular shit that's normal weed. But dude 2 joints? You should get high as fuck off 2 bowl packs out of a bong with normal weed. Maybe your weed is shit.

Last time I smoked I got high, really high, off a single joint between three people. And they got at least two more hits then I did because I passed near the end. I hadn't smoked for a few weeks beforehand.

Quality varies wildly around here (Central Scotland), there's been a few times when I've had proper you're-not-getting-up-for-a-few-hours weed but the majority of the time it's pretty mediocre smoke. Also the price keeps dicking around for grass, it went from being £20 for a half quarter of grass to a tenner a g. Hash prices remain the same though, you can either be desperate and pay £10 for a half q of soapbar (Hell no) or £20 a half q of pollen/black.
