Rejected influenced my art style a bit. Simple, powerful, wiggly lines and recognizable shapes. Like my avatar
That was amazing.
I love shit like this It's such a weird release for me when I see really outlandish shit
... "Release?"
I want that Lisa going "I AM SIMPSON" as an avatar for some reason.
"All hail the dark lord of the twin moons!" Don you crazy bastard.
I saw this at the laundromat on Sunday. Too noisy there to know what was going on, but it seemed familiar. Thanks for putting this up. It's a lot cooler when you don't have a bunch of people having a screaming contest in the background.
'vigorously touch flippers'

The theory for what it means: The Simpsons has became a pale shadow of what it was. Characters have become caricatures who just spout catchphrases and nonsense. For a brief moment Homer remembers the show's past, where it was still shoddy and nonsensical, but still filled with heart and had family values at it's core. He then realises what the show has become and expresses disappointment. Homer turning to his original style at the start is bringing it full circle and making the suggestion more obvious. Clearly it's a commentary on modern Simpsons and diminished quality. Which they blindly opened their show with.
Next they need to get the guys who do don't hug me I'm scared to do one.
That's pretty much what I got out of it too. I wonder if the showrunners are self-aware.
They probably are but just don't give a shit. Or, FOX really keeps all their animated programs on a leash. I still hold by the idea that Seth tried to kill Brian off on Family Guy because he wanted to kill the show because FOX won't let him otherwise.
Or then again, maybe they're trying to make a point and that's why they hired Don Herzfeldt?
Which they blindly opened their show with.
no I'm sure they just have a sense of humor about themselves I mean they aired this which was much less subtle
ALL HAIL THE DARK LORD OF THE TWIN MOONS
I swear these things are getting longer and longer
Less episode to write.
Future Marge talking to homer: [t]http://i.imgur.com/CPdIMiA.jpg[/t] Future Marge saying: "Still love you, Homar" [t]http://i.imgur.com/0xPUZVg.jpg[/t] Future family saying: "We are a happy family" [t]http://i.imgur.com/TGzQM6q.jpg[/t] Time's change, and the show changes with them. But the heart, or at least memories of the heart, will remain. The show is insinuating it has more to offer than sheer entertainment and merchandise, even when it has lost so much of it's original emotional aspects.
the "i will never forget you" one is the most striking one to me, it's really the eeriest one
the "i will never forget you" one is the most striking one to me, it's really the eeriest one
I swear I saw something like that in my nightmares.
