I hate how they take up the entire road for their cycling. They have sidewalks and other paths to take. So I wouldnt say he is in the wrong for that matter. He just used the wrong methods. EDIT: Although, if it was a race, or planned something, then he was 100% in the wrong.
I think it was like some sort of "event". After seeing the video a few times now, he's got a pretty badass car.

He doesn't slow down even remotely. If I saw that happen and didn't get hit myself, I'd be right after him on my bike grabbing any hard, clublike object that I can grab on the way and I'd beat his fucking head till he's in an emergency room with the people he hit.
man help the people you injured for fuck sakes

Is it just me or does the guy at 2:00 have his penis sticking out of his pants? :raise:
No deaths. Nine people were taken to Emergency Hospital in the city. All were released without serious injuries, according to the hospital.
You have no idea how much better that makes me feel. :unsmith: They probably came out of it so well because they were already elevated on their bikes, so they were thrown over the car and not under it. I'm sure if anybody amongst them was on foot they'd be dead or severely injured.
man help the people you injured for fuck sakes
I'm sure if he got out of his car he'd be obliterated by the angry mob of cyclists.
HAHAHAHAHA what a hero too bad hes in a third world dirt country full of mutants
Yes, Brazil is totally third world! [sp]Im being sarcastic, if you have to read this you're a moron[/sp]
I feel this way about cyclists too Fucking pricks riding side by side slowly down the middle of the fucking road like they own the fucking thing. If I drove at 5kmph down the road I'd be fucking arrested. [editline]28th February 2011[/editline] I don't condone running down cyclists. Merely rounding them up and stopping sharply in front of them
Yes, Brazil is totally third world! [sp]Im being sarcastic, if you have to read this you're a moron[/sp]
brazil doesnt even have clean running water or electricity, im surprised they have working cars (probably a generous gift from america)
Aww, there was a dog on a bike. I hope it's alright.
The way it was strapped down I figure they were probably going to eat it.
Yes, Brazil is totally third world! [sp]Im being sarcastic, if you have to read this you're a moron[/sp]
Actually, I think Brazil is kinda half-half isn't it? They thrive on money from tourism like Bali IIRC.
Update: The driver suspected of running over dozens of cyclists, in Porto Alegre, late on Friday (25), arrived at the police station, Traffic Offenses at around 12pm on Monday (28). He reached the place in the presence of two lawyers and escorted by police. According to the lawyer Luis Fernando Coimbra Albino, the suspect will claim he acted in self-defense, to ensure their physical integrity and his son, aged 15. "He says that cyclists broke the window of his car and began kicking the car, on which side was his son, aged 15. He acted in self defense, to ensure their physical integrity and his son. He thought would be lynched and left to save, "says the lawyer to the G1. According to the police chief Gilberto Almeida Montenegro, the suspect is not arrested, but can account for attempted murder. "We want to hear what he has to say. Already we have collected evidence from riders and now we want to know his version of the facts. If it is proven his responsibility, he can answer for attempted murder. But we have 30 days to complete the investigation and he will not be in jail today because the deadline has already passed the blatant, "says Montenegro. On Monday, with the expectation of the presentation of the suspect, the Police Traffic Offences awoke surrounded by cyclists, according to the delegate. "The lawyer called me and they were afraid, but assured them that there would be any kind of protection," he says. The trampling occurred on Friday, at the corner of Jose Luiz Afonso Sponsorship and in Porto Alegre. Nine people were taken to Emergency Hospital in the city. All were released without serious injuries, according to the hospital. The driver fled the scene without providing assistance. Enraged, the cyclists arrived to close the avenue. Over 100 cyclists participated in the event sponsored by the Critical Mass movement when a car entered in the middle of the train dropping dozens of participants. For the group, who published on his blog with video testimony and images of cyclists bike destroyed, the trampling was considered a crime and not an accident.
