A great balance of pop-styled rock, with heavier sections and an overall very dark subject matter. This album flows perfectly from start to finish. In my honest opinion, it is absolute perfection.

In a similar vein, this offering from Opeth contains the light and shade that makes them brilliant. Punchy and full death metal that doesn't make you want to tear your ears off that transitions to and from some beautiful bluesy acoustic sections. The story behind the album is amazing to listen to. I like to call this the definition of brutiful :v:

Hip-hop at its finest for me. some damn groovy samples and great verses. Really chilled. I don't know a lot about hip hop but I enjoyed this album more than any other that I've listened to and there's not a moment of the album that I don't love.

It's impossible to not be happy after listening to this album. That in itself earns it 5. What I like most about this album though is the vocal work. The harmonies and world music influence just sounds really damn cool.

I was going to post Split the Atom and In Absentia. Some of my all time favorite albums.
Two other albums I'd give 5 stars are 10,000 Days by Tool and This is Happening by LCD Soundsystem.

Basically, every song on the album is amazing. It's one of the albums that I could just listen to on repeat all day long. I literally love every aspect of Tool, thus they are one of my favorite bands.

Another fucking awesome album. It kind of makes me think of a Progressive Electronic album. Every song is quite long, and they all have a building up effect. The album is fun, and quite original. Definitely a must listen for anyone who likes Indie or Electronic music.
I'm getting tired of rating everyone winner, goddamn.

Perfection. Alternative Rock mixed with psychedelic and progressive elements that's more uplifting than finding a box of kittens on your doorstep.
"Stealing images is bad, mmmkay?" is my favourite album of all time.

Each one of these albums are made entirely with memorable, solid tracks without any filler. These unique albums have all had considerable effects on my music taste and have each given me great memories and experiences; from playing Blitzkrieg Bop to a bunch of strangers in Denmark to getting smashed and putting on my mates original '67 pressing of The VU at 5am.

I know I've said it a few times before, but this is seriously one of the most emotional albums I've ever heard in my life, also my favorite jazz record of all time.

This ambient album consists of music stripped of everything down to its bare essence. Perfectly produced and composed, every single song here sounds beautiful and perfect. Their other albums are on-par with this one, too.

The best collection of music I've heard in my life. 4 CDs of what very well might be the most perfect ambient music ever made. It's the polar opposite of Stars of the Lid. Very lush, "full" sound. Plus the packaging is fucking beautiful.

This album kinda sounds like black metal if it got bored and decided to dick around with electronica. It makes an oddly compelling album.
Two other amazing albums I just thought of are The Flashbulb's "Arboreal" and Andrew Jackson Jihad's "People Who Eat People Are The Luckiest People In The World."

This album is probably my favorite chill electronic one. Every song is great and extremely relaxing. Anyone who likes Ambient should really check this out.

This album isn't like most bands I enjoy. It's a Folk-Polk album, but the songs are sung in a way that urges you to sing (Or in my case yell) along to it. The style of the lyrics are also quite unique. One of my favorite albums, and one of the best bands I've ever seen live.

it was a very great album indeed. in think the real problem was that it was a bit overproduced and way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, WAY, to clean sounding, as opposed to justice and puppets
they shouldve cranked the bass up a bit and made it a bit dirtier and it would have stood right next to their old stuff

The Dillinger Escape Plan's music sounds pretty good, but their live shows are fucking phenomenal. They probably have the best stage presence of any band I've seen, or even heard of. It's so awesome I can barely explain how awesome the live performances are.
