Let it Be Naked doesn't deserve 5 stars.
Opinions, opinions, opinions. But yes you are right. I couldn't really be bothered to pick out the albums i could give an honest 5 stars to.
The perfect drum & bass album, I absolutely love every song on it and never get tired of it. Steven Wilson - Insurgentes Great atmosphere and all through perfect album. Even the bonus tracks. Masterpiece.
A great balance of pop-styled rock, with heavier sections and an overall very dark subject matter. This album flows perfectly from start to finish. In my honest opinion, it is absolute perfection. In a similar vein, this offering from Opeth contains the light and shade that makes them brilliant. Punchy and full death metal that doesn't make you want to tear your ears off that transitions to and from some beautiful bluesy acoustic sections. The story behind the album is amazing to listen to. I like to call this the definition of brutiful :v: Hip-hop at its finest for me. some damn groovy samples and great verses. Really chilled. I don't know a lot about hip hop but I enjoyed this album more than any other that I've listened to and there's not a moment of the album that I don't love. It's impossible to not be happy after listening to this album. That in itself earns it 5. What I like most about this album though is the vocal work. The harmonies and world music influence just sounds really damn cool. Best thrash metal album ever, 'nuff said. Do I really have to explain this one [editline]27th January 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://www.thelineofbestfit.com/wp-content/media/2010/03/noisia_cover.jpg[/img_thumb] The perfect drum & bass album, I absolutely love every song on it and never get tired of it.
The bad thing about this album is that "Leakage" only goes for 1 and a half minutes. :v:

Some of my all time favorite albums. Two other albums I'd give 5 stars are 10,000 Days by Tool and This is Happening by LCD Soundsystem. Basically, every song on the album is amazing. It's one of the albums that I could just listen to on repeat all day long. I literally love every aspect of Tool, thus they are one of my favorite bands. Another fucking awesome album. It kind of makes me think of a Progressive Electronic album. Every song is quite long, and they all have a building up effect. The album is fun, and quite original. Definitely a must listen for anyone who likes Indie or Electronic music.
I'm getting tired of rating everyone winner, goddamn. Perfection. Alternative Rock mixed with psychedelic and progressive elements that's more uplifting than finding a box of kittens on your doorstep.
"Stealing images is bad, mmmkay?" is my favourite album of all time.
masterpiece
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/gtstroke1.jpg[/img_thumb] One of the greatest albums ever made, in my opinion. Julian's voice is mesmerizing and the guitar work is impeccable. Key Tracks: Someday Take It Or Leave It Last Nite Hard To Explain Alone,Together
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes Most amazing album of last decade. Ranges from Someday's profound beauty to Last Nite's rhythms urging you to dance and sing along, to Take It Or Leave It's dissonant harmonies, with Julian's excellent vocals holding it all together.
[img_thumb]http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/homelesshorde/015f8a0776deceb3a6a60d6c1623878c_full.jpg[/img_thumb]
Oh I forgot to mention Ænima Much for the same reasons as Debauchery with 10,000 days.
Lateralus with also the same reasons.
[img_thumb]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_t6lWjgwMoxw/S_o4Ex-wb1I/AAAAAAAAAPA/MC28sFm13io/s1600/lateralus.jpg[/img_thumb] Lateralus with also the same reasons.
I'd have to agree. By far their best effort, in my own personal opinion. AEnima comes in a very close second. [editline]26th January 2011[/editline] Camel's self-titled album. Bloody brilliant.

Pavement - Slanted & Enchanted Ramones - Ramones Fucked Up - The Chemistry Of Common Life The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico Each one of these albums are made entirely with memorable, solid tracks without any filler. These unique albums have all had considerable effects on my music taste and have each given me great memories and experiences; from playing Blitzkrieg Bop to a bunch of strangers in Denmark to getting smashed and putting on my mates original '67 pressing of The VU at 5am.
I know I've said it a few times before, but this is seriously one of the most emotional albums I've ever heard in my life, also my favorite jazz record of all time. This ambient album consists of music stripped of everything down to its bare essence. Perfectly produced and composed, every single song here sounds beautiful and perfect. Their other albums are on-par with this one, too. The best collection of music I've heard in my life. 4 CDs of what very well might be the most perfect ambient music ever made. It's the polar opposite of Stars of the Lid. Very lush, "full" sound. Plus the packaging is fucking beautiful. Probably my favorite live album. Facepunch should be familiar with this one already. The most unique, abstract, complex, and alien sounding album I have in my collection. It's almost indescribable. I also really love Autechre, so that helps fuel my appreciation for this LP. Lovely wintry indie rock. The lead singer has a fantastic voice. Some more indie music. This album is the greatest example of a "grower" I've ever experienced. The more I hear it, the more I love it, and I'm not expecting to pull this CD out of rotation for quite some time. and of course fuck the haters
Fullmoon Bongzai - Noisense This album kinda sounds like black metal if it got bored and decided to dick around with electronica. It makes an oddly compelling album.
Two other amazing albums I just thought of are The Flashbulb's "Arboreal" and Andrew Jackson Jihad's "People Who Eat People Are The Luckiest People In The World." This album is probably my favorite chill electronic one. Every song is great and extremely relaxing. Anyone who likes Ambient should really check this out. This album isn't like most bands I enjoy. It's a Folk-Polk album, but the songs are sung in a way that urges you to sing (Or in my case yell) along to it. The style of the lyrics are also quite unique. One of my favorite albums, and one of the best bands I've ever seen live.
Despite the infamous change in styles, my personal belief is that Metallica's self titled album is their greatest release. From start to finish, the heavy and thick sound fitted with the raw snare drum and badass bass gives a HiFi feel even at 128kbps audio, and riffs that pierce through the speakers and fuck your brain. It is impossible to list a standout track, because they are all just great, and even Enter Sandman is still enjoyable after seeing the film clip 500 times.
it was a very great album indeed. in think the real problem was that it was a bit overproduced and way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, WAY, to clean sounding, as opposed to justice and puppets they shouldve cranked the bass up a bit and made it a bit dirtier and it would have stood right next to their old stuff
V. E. N. O. Fucking M.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine This album just blows all the other mathcore albums right out of the water, and there honestly isn't a single song on this album that I'd skip. The whole energy throughout this album is completely unrivaled. Perfect soundtrack to fuck shit up to.

Perfect soundtrack to fuck shit up to.
The Dillinger Escape Plan's music sounds pretty good, but their live shows are fucking phenomenal. They probably have the best stage presence of any band I've seen, or even heard of. It's so awesome I can barely explain how awesome the live performances are.
The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd Greatest fucking album I've ever heard. Are You Experienced? - Jimi Hendrix Need I really say more?
