Albums you could give an honest 5 stars to, and why.

Yeah it's not 5 star worthy.

I'd give it a 3.5, maybe a 4. It's a very good album but nothing mindblowing.

Some of these are my favourite albums, some are not, but they are all albums I would give an honest 5 stars.

Easily my favourite album. I enjoy every song over and over again, especially Is She Weird, Ana, Blown Away and Stormy Weather.

So many great songs, El Manana and Fire coming out of the monkeys head blow me away every time I listen to them, I fall into such a deep reality when I listen to these songs.

And finally, a pretty popular one, with good reason. I probably don't need to elaborate as many before me already have so I'll just make one statement.

Time is one of the best songs ever.

Why? Because every single song was absolutely incredible. My first Symphony X song was, if I recall correctly, The Divine Wings of Tragedy. Then I got that album, which was already mentioned. I loved it, but I felt it could've been a little better. Then I got Paradise Lost (special edition with 5.1 mastered DVD, at that), and dear god I was blown away. Some of the most epic songs I've ever heard.

It's a little bit of everything that I love about Dream Theater in one album. Pretty/soft songs, heavy songs, lengthy epics, and freaky riffs abound, with some of the greatest solos I've ever heard.

It seldom gets public mention, but this is most definitely my favorite Floyd album overall. Sure, some other albums have songs I like more on them, but Animals is my favorite whole album by them.
