that is this [img_thumb]http://images.askmen.com/galleries/singer/bjork/pictures/bjork-picture-5.jpg[/img_thumb]
Hurpa derpa dorkin Ima Bjorkin
I dunno I disagree with you on the topic of Horizons. It's a really good album, I think. Definitely better than most.
Better that most isn't good enough when it comes to modern/melodic metalcore There's bound to be some good somewhere in that shithole of a genre
Pretty much this and in absentia were the golden age of porcupine tree songwriting. You just can't beat this album.
Porcupine Tree could take a recording of burping and make it sound cool.
http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7483183 Damo - D Classified Files His lines are just epic apparently his music gets a bit repetitive after a while... But I'm loving it for now Also, Horizons - Parkway Drive, I just love every song and.. I can't think of any others.
Rush do not approve
if rush comes out with another album as good as the suburbs then we'll see
The song Carrion is very catchy, other than that it's just really generic uninspired metalcore Sorry [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] Also: [img_thumb]http://www.roadburn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Baroness-Blue-Record.jpg[/img_thumb] Incredibly well put together album, has you grabbed from start to finish. Touching melodies coupled with sludgy goodness. One of my favourite albums of all times. Protip: Focus on the right-panned harmonic guitar, it makes the music twice as enjoyable
What's that bullshit at the bottom?:colbert: (incidentally John Baizley is one of my favorite artists)
The song Carrion is very catchy, other than that it's just really generic uninspired metalcore Sorry
:( imo carrion is easily the worst song off the album The song Horizons is an absolute masterpiece imo [editline]30th January 2011[/editline]
that is this [img_thumb]http://images.askmen.com/galleries/singer/bjork/pictures/bjork-picture-5.jpg[/img_thumb]
Holy fuck it's Jim Carrey in a woman's body
Sure, it might just be an EP, but it still has some amazing songs, like Go to Hell, Angry Again, and 99 Ways to Die. I personally don't think there is a single bad song on it.
Seriously, the irony is palpable :v: are those the lyrics you posted on facebook lol
Yep
Adelaide Damo It's not a coincidence [editline]30th January 2011[/editline] You hiding some talents bro?
This in my book disearves a 17/5. For the Fallen Dreams first album Changes is everything I've ever sought for in music everything from the beautiful guitar riffs, Amazing drumming and the powerful vocals. The overall tone from this album is amazing for me, The guitar tone is perfect along with the drums and Andrews kick ass kickdrum sound. This is an album I could listen to forever the song "Changes" is so damned beautiful...
Franz Ferdinand really outdid themselves with this one. Not only was it a fantastic blend of dance music and pop rock (the end of "Lucid Dreams" is golden) it also showed the range in abilities through out the album, often with genre changes mid song. I give it a 5/5 because it is so goddamn loveable.
:( imo carrion is easily the worst song off the album The song Horizons is an absolute masterpiece imo
but that's like, my opinion man and yeah that song is actually good too [editline]30th January 2011[/editline]
What's that bullshit at the bottom?:colbert: [img_thumb]http://www.metalsucks.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/bluerecord.jpg[/img_thumb] (incidentally John Baizley is one of my favorite artists)
I don't own a physical copy, so I just grabbed the one off google that I thought looked the best v:v:v That is a weird-ass album cover by the way
but that's like, my opinion man and yeah that song is actually good too
As long as you acknowledge that Horizons is a good song, I'm satisfied. Have a friendly. That is indeed a weird ass album cover.

Fuck yeah. Every track is brilliant, each has a unique atmosphere, and the album as a whole is a perfect mix of 'Aqualung' and 'This Was', with a dash of 'Benefit'.
To OP - The World Needs A Hero was released in 2001. Also one album that I'd give 5 stars to would be Warrel Dane's solo album Praises To The War Machine. Music is not too dull, but yet it manages to be simple enough to highlight Dane's vocals, which are brilliant. Also the lyrics are very well written.
Protest The Hero - Kezia My favourite album of all time. The music is amazing, the vocals are incredible and the lyrics are awesome.
Not much I can really say about it, but it goes through so many different sounds from front to back, and it's just pure, raw 90's. Some of the most frenetic, ridiculous ska ever. Most people probably wouldn't even call it ska, but that's what it is. Possibly one of the greatest albums to come out of the 80's. Songs like Crystal Days, Nocturnal Me, and The Killing Moon are beyond amazing.

Amused to death by Roger Waters Why? This album contains the Song "It's a Miracle" Which contains this godly verse "We cower in our shelters With our hands over our ears Lloyd-Webber's awful stuff Runs for years and years and years An earthquake hits the theatre But the operetta lingers Then the piano lids comes down And break his fucking fingers It's a miracle" Deserving of a fucking plaque on Webber's house
if rush comes out with another album as good as the suburbs then we'll see
They did 31 years ago
[img_thumb]http://simonhernandez.com/television.jpg[/img_thumb]
Never did like this album cover. They look like zombies. That and Verlaine's hands look messed up.
