Population Override - Buckethead [img_thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/518B9NKKDGL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img_thumb] My favourite album of all time. The entire album has an utterly hypnotic mood created by a simple fusion of guitar, drums and keyboard. Wonderfully chilled album.
Colma, and Electric Tears are also good
One brilliant album, that's all I have to say.
It is a fantastic album. But not his best, I think.
It is a fantastic album. But not his best, I think.
Even if you don't think it's the best, do you believe that it's not worth 5 stars? I definitely think it's worthy.
The song Carrion is very catchy, other than that it's just really generic uninspired metalcore Sorry [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] Also: [img_thumb]http://www.roadburn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Baroness-Blue-Record.jpg[/img_thumb] Incredibly well put together album, has you grabbed from start to finish. Touching melodies coupled with sludgy goodness. One of my favourite albums of all times. Protip: Focus on the right-panned harmonic guitar, it makes the music twice as enjoyable
uh ya baroness owns
Everything Devin does deserves 5 stars :smug: Well maybe not but never far off. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] Ziltoid does deserve 5 stars though yeah.
Flying Dog by Paul Gilbert I just listened to the whole album for the first time and :iia:
The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band It's the first Beatles album I actually listened to all the way through a few years ago and it was just amazing. There's a few experimental songs on there (Within you Without you, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds) which work really well, aswell as some of my favourite songs of all time (A Day In The Life, With A Little Help From My Friends and She's Leaving Home) and then some that are just plain odd (For The Benefit of Mister Kite I'm looking at you). It all fits together to make one giant orgasm of an album, one which I'll raise my kids on and still listen to when I'm sixty four :v:
Radiohead - The Bends Best songs: Fake plastic trees, Nice Dream, Street Spirit Favourite moment: The moment the guitar kicks in on the title track. Radiohead - OK Computer Best: Let Down, Subterranean homesick alien, The tourist (That's right, none of the singles) Favourite moment: too many to choose from, "In an interstellar burst, I am back to save the universe" or Subterranean homesick alien "I'm just uptight" or Let down "One day, i am going to grow wings" or all of the tourist fuck it there's too many Radiohead - Kid A Best: Kid A (title track), Motion picture soundtrack, How to disappear completely Favourite moment: The strings on HTDC The Stone roses - The Stone roses Best: I wanna be adored, This is the one, I am the resurrection Favourite moment: Don't stop (waterfall reversed) - just before the first chorus. Oasis - (What's the story?) Morning Glory Best: Don't look back in anger, She's electric, Some might say Favourite moment: Morning Glory (Title track) "All your dreams are made, when you're chained to the mirror and the razor blade." The Beatles - Revolver Best: She said, she said, and your bird can sing, Elanor Rigby Favourite moment: I want to tell you "I feel hung up but i don't know why" 4.9/5 albums: Radiohead - Amnesiac (pyramid song, nuff' said) Hail to the Thief (a couple of songs that should've been B sides on here) In Rainbows (would have been a 5 if the best songs from CD2 replaced the worst on the album) Oasis - Definitely maybe (a little too raw sounding, live forever is still their best song, though) Be Here Now (It has become under-rated, no where near as bloated as it was made out to be, just a more epic sounding WTSMG) The Stone Roses - Second coming (Starts and ends maybe even better than the debut, but the middle lets it down a little) The Beatles - Abbey road, Sgt Pepper's, Rubber soul (all have a few tracks I don't like, unfortunately, If Strawberry fields replaced Lovely Rita on Sgt Pepper's, it'd be a 5) Pink Floyd - Wish you were here (Oh, by the way, which one's pink?)
Genuinely surprised this hasn't been posted. From the fantastic lyrics, the great composition, the technical and unique instrumental styles, and the fantastic vocal work of all 4 members, and Scott Kelly's absolutely GODLY sludge vocals on the title track, this album is virtually perfect. It's unfair and impossible to pick a single favourite album but this is in my all time top 5 favourites.

hey finley have sex with me please
 Props for posting Bjork by the way
One of my favourite records of all time and some of the best death metal i've heard; this band should be required listening. The harsh vocals are incredible and ungodly, the cleans are fantastic and fit the music perfectly, and every song is an awesome combination of metal and symphony. [editline]6th February 2011[/editline] One of the most criminally underrated bands i've seen.
[img_thumb]http://www.ephemeron.net/wp-content/uploads/cover-love-forever_changes.jpg[/img_thumb]
That looks a bit like a heart to me
Probably meant to be :v:
That looks a bit like a heart to me
a Love heart
No like a legit heart That one [editline]6th February 2011[/editline] Kind of...
sort of i guess listen to the album
No time, too much I need to listen to already
Probably my favorite album of all time, Stairway to Heaven man, greatest rock song ever created. The Wall tells an amazing story, and is IMO, Pink's best album ever made. I felt very attached to every song and The Dark Side of the Moon, not Floyd's best, but still a flawless album. 'Time' and 'Money' are the songs of the album. Back in Black is an album everyone needs to listen to, I really haven't listened to a whole lot of AC/DC but this album is fucking fantastic Hip-hop at it's finest. 19 Year old Nas makes the greatest hip-hop record ever created. Rate me dumb if you disagree. If you think rap can't have flawless albums, you haven't listened to Illmatic.
Stairway to Heaven man, greatest rock song ever created.
lolno
Probably my favorite album of all time, Stairway to Heaven man, greatest rock song ever created.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stairway_to_Heaven#Taurus
I don't like that everyone says stairway to heaven is the greatest song ever It's clearly a bandwagon.
I love the sythn and bass in this album in general, and I think it just seems to work as an album as a whole. It's a shame Chris Karloff left, and seemed to take most of the psychedelia influences with him.
Collins era is equally as good as the Gabriel era, fuck the haters. Well, they both have their own appeals in my opinion.
