I can't relate OP, but I really hate it when people try to talk to you when you clearly have headphones in your ears.
Funny, I hate people who have headphones in their ears when people might want to talk to you, it's so awkward.
I hate it when some people play music with their phones, on loudspeaker. No headphones, just the phone speakers. What the fuck? Why do people do this?
I do in my room if I don't have my ancient computer on. It has the nice subwoofer. I just can't be arsed sometimes to press the power button on everything. Although my Nokia had a really good speaker on it. There was actually a little bass response so it didn't sound tinny. I miss that phone.
No I mean in public.
He knows, he's just saying that he does it too but...in private.
When I'm around people have to put up with listening to my Megadeth. If you don't like Megadeth, too bad.
I actually use this for effect for ... listening to people. I experienced that too and I saw that most people talk more/louder when you're having your headphones on. So what I do is wearing the headphones but not listening to music. People tell interesting storys sometimes.
Funny, I hate people who have headphones in their ears when people might want to talk to you, it's so awkward.
I mean if your like, studying for example. I'm not gonna put my headphones in if I'm sitting by some friends. But if I am listening to music, people don't seem to understand that before you start talking, you should get that person's attention first. If I want to talk to someone listening to music, I'll tap them on the shoulder or something..I won't just start talking, causing them to awkwardly say "sorry, what? I had music on..couldn't hear you" ..yeah, this happens to me a lot. :(
No I mean in public.
I do while I'm riding my bike. My headphones always get caught on something. Does that count? :v:

What a 2000th post :))
You have picture that presumably is telling you not to hotlink, but I can't tell since it's not in english?
The second paragraph is in English.
The second paragraph is in English.
Oh wow, I didn't bother reading after because I figured it'd all be in whatever language.
I listen to my stuff at really low volumes. I have even heard other people's music from this effect, OVER my own music I'm currently playing.
Why don't I have gold member yet? What'd I do wrongg :( [editline]01:38AM[/editline] Nevermind, obviously.
I have headphones that cover my ears (skullcandys) and I don't wear them in public as I believe it makes me look a douche.
I listen regularly. I often sit way back in the bus, near the engine so my music can't be heard, I suppose. Eventually, I don't give a shit. They got a problem with it; just get some balls and tell me, I'll lower it.
OP, what are you listening to that you don't want other people to hear?
Mainly Tim Minchin ("fuck I love boobs though" was great to suddenly hear when sat next to a granny on the bus) But ahem.....Mika....who is the main cause of my paranoia. My music tastes aren't the issue though, it's simply that I know how much I would like to reap the souls of those whose Ipods I can hear. gahh
Usually you can't hear the ear buds when they're in your ear, but outside of your ear you can hear the music coming from them.
Why should I care about people hearing the music I listen to? If they have a problem with it they just have to tell it to me. I usualy have the volume at 4/5 of the slider.
I have my Zune set to 20/30 and I can hear it quite loudly but my in earphones block any external sound. A that level you'd have to be in a dead quiet room for anyone to hear it, but on a noisy bus full of talking shits its nothing to worry about. If you use open earphones then you rightfully should worry, NOISE POLLUTIN.
Why should I care about people hearing the music I listen to? If they have a problem with it they just have to tell it to me. I usualy have the volume at 4/5 of the slider.
Pretty much this. I listen to my music relatively loud (4/6ths of the slider, maybe closer to 4/5ths), but if its too loud, all you have to do is tell me. The last thing I want to do is annoy people - I'll gladly turn it down if its too much. Only reason I listen to it so loudly is that it helps me concentrate, and I can't really hear all the little nuances and such of the music when its quiet, and I like hearing those nuances. And going back to an earlier topic, it's very annoying when people try to talk to me while I'm listening to music without grabbing my attention first, because I always feel ignorant when I ask them to repeat what they said. Just tap me on the shoulder or something. :saddowns:
I really don't care if people hear my music. If they don't like my taste in music, they can go suck a big fat cock listening to their rap or hardcore metal.
I never had this probem, But im not much of a social person.
I definitely have this problem, I constantly pull the headphones out of my ears and hold them nearby to see if they can still be heard.
Yes, I have the same. When waiting for the traffic lights I pause my music.
