You can speed up the videos with Enounce MySpeed, thought the videos won't buffer quick, making you wait just as long.

My solution would work well if the buffering worked better.

Yeah if someone could buffer the video faster than it plays then this would work of course, just not sure if the majority have fast enough internet.

You can, however, let the video buffer while paused, and then play it at double speed. I'd have to time it and see if it saves time.

Well, I have 20Mb/20Mb internet and I can try it. Just need to see, how everything works.
