How is there no mention of the Schwerer Gustav / Dora? They fired those massive tank-sized shells posted before, and had so much recoil they rolled backwards around 500 meters every time they fired.
Also weighed just around 1500 metric tons and could fire a shell almost 50 km away. Unfortunately, both gustav and dora were scrapped, gustav by the americans who captured it and used the metal as spares, and dora got disassembled by the germans to avoid having it captured by the red army.

There's something about the T-90 that's immensely attractive. I mean just look at it. It's not particularly elegant or refined. It's just raw. Russian ingenuity. What they've managed to do with the platform is just astounding.
Also I suspect this thread is going to become a pissing match between the Challenger 2 and Abrams which is pointless. The former is simply an Abrams with a few minor differences and newer Chobham armor.

Chassis of a T-55 (I think), a British turret and two Swiss Oerlikons, yet only in use in Finland.
Personally I'd say my personal preference goes toward Merkava and the Leopard 2, two awesome tanks that have been tried and tested pretty thoroughly over time. Also the newer CV9035's that at least the Dutch and Danish are using seem to be pretty damn cool too!

And the tank would be obviously surrounded by atleast a division of Fallschrimjägers and tanks, and would probably serve as huge bait for the hostile air forces to waste their numbers on the thing while Luftwaffe has it's offical "kill anything moving above 80 meters without swastika" day.
