Guys I hope you like completely pointless conversations as turn descriptions because I love them
I don't know if anyone is reading my posts or just looking at the pictures but you can expect many more long and pointless sessions of [i][b]weirdly[/b] formatted [highlight][b]text[/b][/highlight][/i] in the near future!

At that moment, the scout party reports back in. Meathook's voice, identical in everything except tone to Maggot's, suddenly fills the chamber.

The commander doesn't look particularly pleased at the sarcasm, probably why the embarassingly subservient Maggot occupies a higher rank than Meathook, but nevertheless doesn't seem all that upset at the actual news.

Maggot looks a little uncomfortable about that last particular comment, but scrambles to obey anyway.
At his mental command, a battalion of soldiers begin to move out towards the Western building, leaving only token guards to defend the Pilot and the extra Angel they will need for later.

A fresh batch of ships emerge from the planet's atmosphere and begins to head to the East. If the enemies of the Taidan thought what came before was a terrible sight to behold then they will have no words for what it coming to the planet's surface now. There should be no doubt, a metal rain is descending on their heads.
The fleet now has one goal. Eradicate all hostile forces and take the planet, be it with fire, intimidation, or word of mouth.
You not think it might be better to actually produce your ships rather then pulling them out of no where? :v:

Well, it may conduct the electricity to it, however it has no way of getting to the ground. Bearing in mind lightning for starters needs a wet environment; we are in a desert. I already said this though, my ships just wouldn't be affected, the electricity has no way to the ground, though I still have the potential to get shocked, if I touch the ground without removing the charge, then as soon as I hit the ground it will have affect :v: . I suppose its a bit unfair, but it is if you know what I mean :v:

The roaches and ants at the front line continue to fire where possible, one running past the creatures and moving up to a forward position. On the first floor the roach begins to curl up and fade away, holding the triggers on his pistol as he does.
Quite soon the air units all panic and retreat at the site of one needle blowing up from the inside as it charges forward into the unknown; an honourable sacrifice. Another of the needles which was already pounding multiple targets pushes itself upwards; slicing it's backs spike straight through one flying unit as it's back gun let's out a flow of plasma. The ship itself meets the other flying abomination, ripping into it's beaks, the covered in yellow-blood guns pouring out as much attack as they can at the same time.
It was hopeless.[/I]

[i]The fire from the remaining defenders wounds and kills a few more Swarmers and Leapers, though some manage through, ripping and tearing at anything in there way. The one leaper behind was hit along his back hide armor although it does not cause to much harm it still causes pain to the Leaper. It leaps towards the small creature slashing it with its powerful claws.

The First wave leave for certain death. The general jumps off his transport intending to walk toward his first officer and allies. The second wave follow closely behind.

The men arrive. The first transport went fast and low and already began despatching men. Th eofficer leading the charge soon realised however that there was a rather large firey object coming their way...
The others prepare to fire their chainguns and the secondary pilots pop out of the back haches with rifles ready to fight off flying xenos.
Th elast, sneakier transport travels above the fray and intends to drop into the control room and see if the turrets are still operational.
