You know, this whole Homestuck fiasco, is one of the most unique and strange things that has happend to me. One, I’ve never read anything remotely close to this, I’ve never read a webcomic in my life. Also, I’ve never read anything with a couple thousand people kind of guiding me along the way, this whole experience is mind blowing! I mean the author greeted me on the screen and entering this whole world that I had no idea even existed a few days ago feels like stepping into a new dimension, and with tumblr, I can feel you guys all here with me… I don’t know, it’s late, I’m tired, my mind is tired… I’m Homestuck.
He likes it.
Incidentally, he is also going insane.
And then dante was Homestuck.

Aren't we all.
He's probably just happy to be getting so much attention.
Hussie already said they make out directly to him. Check out Dantes twitter wall.
That was actually Andrew Pussie, a gag account. If you look at his profile, it's half filled with retweets of the american nazi party.

tumblr was flipping its shit last night about that
dave's intro is the point where homestuck went from "pretty neat i guess" to "whoa shit this comic owns"
[editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
for me at least
Jade's intro brought the interest down though. She was only good once her dreamself died

When homestuck really got insane was when we flashed forward to Dave and Rose after John died and Jade didn't enter. I was like "woah what this is crazy time travel and shit".
Also all the universe bullshit is awesome. I love thinking about the multiverse, which I formally believe in.

Homestuck got real for me around here.
I only got madly addicted to Homestuck after Jade: Enter.
At that point I read all the way to the end of the comic without stopping.
Pretty much everything after the end of Act 5 Part 1 did it for me.
I got addicted to Homestuck when John started playing Sburb, i was loving the concept of the game.
I started reading MSPA about 1/2 way through Problem Sleuth. I loved PS so much. When Homestuck started, I didn't really like it and I was confused, but I held strong and waited it out. And then it got insane and awesome.
And here I am 4 years later.

That is basically what I did but I started reading PS just when the big boss fight started. I think I might have lost interest in Homestuck for a little bit near the beginning but it was so long ago I can't really remember.
A 8bit mashup of 16 songs. 16 SONGS!!!

I remember getting to the end of act one after reading Problem Sleuth, and really not liking it, giving up on reading it for a few months. Then I decided to give it another shot, and it picked up.
Basically what happened when i read act one was:
I read it because i wanted to see what the big deal was. I checked it out, and laughed, but it didn't look like it was going anywhere. So I stopped reading for a few days.
THEN, me being the curious motherfucker I am, I wanted to know how it ended, so I just trudged on. Back then had absolutely no clue it was still being written.
Just drew this

fucking loving those karkats, also you got me to draw something again so thanks.
I'll try to remember to upload them later
When I first started reading Homestuck I didn't understand nor like anything so I stopped for like a year, but when I got back to it I got hooked from the start.
Started from Problem Sleuth when it was halfway done or so, read Homestuck update per update, since the "beta".
I feel like an old lurking geezer.
i first read homestuck knowing very little about it; i had heard a little discussion about it on a forum (the thread started right before Eridan was introduced; i skimmed it and got bored and did something else)
but then one night i was browsing TVTropes and saw a link to MS Paint Adventures and decided to read it
I actually really like Act 1; it was funny and silly. I wasn't goaded into reading by someone saying "Oh, this is awesome, it's the best thing ever" which is probably part of why I didn't get bored.
Somewhere along the line I started noticing all these callbacks, references, connections between different bits of the story everywhere; rather than risk spoiling it for myself, I read on, just sort of vaguely aware of what was going on half the time.
I very nearly stopped reading during Hivebent. It was boring, I didn't like the characters much, and there were long logs of text that were hard to read and often ultimately pointless.
I ended up catching up to the story here.
I ended up reading Problem Sleuth during the hiatus until Cascade and I loved it.
My little brother told me about homestuck. I haven't heard of it, and I had no idea how bad the fanbase was. So I really didn't know what to think.
He said it was good, so I took his word for it and read all the way through. I enjoyed all of it, and at this point, I can honestly say that I'm obsessed.

Finally got these sons of bitches done. Also my Tumblr question box is now open for any requests.
I read Problem Sleuth when it was linked to in the first You Are a Tiger thread and Homestuck shortly afterward, caught up at around when everyone was dying and shit was pseudo-horror
I only read Homestuck because I was bored one day and saw the FP thread just being there so I decided to take a look.

Pretty much the same here.

My brother (you may know him as LurkieTheLurker) pointed the thread out to me.
No looking back after that.
