[sp]And Moderator[/sp]
Probably my favorite character from Toy Story, though for his personality and not 'cuz he's a dino. Anyways, there were a lot of awesome dinosaur cartoons from the late 80's and early 90's. Dinosaucers, Extreme Dinosaurs, and Jim Henson's Dinosaurs. We need good 'ol cartoons like that again. :C

Chalicoterians were awesome
Also, Quetzacoatlus will fuck your shit up. Roll_program, the almost-certain owner of this alt account should be just permad IMO, from the very day i joined he loves nothing more than threadshitting with dragon porn. back on topic, pre-historic wildlife is so much more awesome than our tiny, panzy wildlife of today imagine crashing into one of these huge motherfuckers on your summer holiday:
I know dino nerds get all anal about the mis-representation of what dinosaurs actually looked like in Jurassic park, but excuse me, nobody gives a fuck. this: Look far more menacing than this: [editline]28th February 2011[/editline] And that's probably one of the more intense looking representations I've seen of the clawed turkey.
Anyone remember dinosaurs were upright in the past? It was so fucking stupid. T-rex standing up. I even have a old picture book. Wait here while I scan it.
Also guys start donating your paycheck to genetic research so they can hurry up and revive the neanderthal, and then we can get to reviving dinosaurs and some old fucking tycoon can open up an amusement park that goes really fucking south and then we screw our ecosystem over by introducing super predators that are 65 million years old. Sounds fucking GREAT
Anyone remember dinosaurs were upright in the past? It was so fucking stupid. T-rex standing up. I even have a old picture book. Dino True story. Dun' be hatin' on teh dino.
Were the hell are the velociraptors? [img_thumb]http://media.indiedb.com/cache/images/games/1/7/6033/thumb_620x2000/raptor_reflect1.jpg[/img_thumb]
Alright- Time to quell a common misconception. Velociraptors were actually in fact about 2 feet tall, they had feathers... The body structure is nearly identical to what the general "raptor" image is (Just shrink and add feathers) The raptor above, or those you saw in Jurassic park are actually Utahraptors.
Op likes vore :suicide:
Why does nearly everyone who likes dragons and dinosaurs into vore and/or is a scaly (or whatever it's spelled)? What happened to them being cool and not sex objects?

The only problem is that Velociraptor is the most well known maniraptoran name, along with Deinonynchus (Same with Tyranosaurus as the most well known genera of its family instead of Tarbosaurus or Albertosaurus), so it's normal that people associate the big "Raptor" with the Velociraptor name. It's like the people that associate "Brachiosaurus" with other similar sauropods like Giraffatitan or other Titanosaurians
Why does nearly everyone who likes dragons and dinosaurs into vore and/or is a scaly (or whatever it's spelled)? This is true- But in the movie and the book to boot they do refer to them as Velociraptors, I think several times the character Alan Grant remarks in disdain "You bred velociraptors?" Either way the point is moot- The generalization is a killer though when you actually like to read into such animals D:

The t-Rex probably had feathers they found I heard on some documentary I watched not long ago.
The t-Rex probably had feathers they found I heard on some documentary I watched not long ago.
Baby T-rexes probably had some feathers, but I don't think adult ones had them: they were really big and lived on a warm habitat, so they didn't need them. Rhinos and elephants have little to no hair for this same reason
Good research, Jorori! Makes complete sense- Oh that history and its way of changing-

The second one is more informative in a way. Saying that:
Prum said that feathers weren’t found in all dinosaurs, just in a particular class of dinosaurs called therapods. Richard Prum: They’re sort of the most charismatic and meat-eating of the dinosaurs. These are Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Allosaurus, all those guys.
