First one suggests that for all we know it could be possible.
The second one is more informative in a way. Saying that:
Coelurosaurian theropods were the only ones that had proper feathers (With the same chemical compounds found in birds), but it's also known Ornitischians like Psitaccosaurus had proto-feathers on their tails, certain megalosaurids (Concavenator) had possible quill knobs (Attachments for feathers), and pterosaurs had "hair" (Nothing like mammal hair or insect "hair", completely different convergent structure)
Perhaps all ornithodirans evolved some kind of cover that developed differently on each clade, who knows v:v:v
Figure this is good of thread of any as to post this.

Clearing up the whole utahraptor - velociraptor thing in Jurassic Park
Yes, they are referred to in both the book and the movie as "velociraptor". This isn't an intentional mistake. At the time of writing the book, The dinosaur Deinonychus was thought to be a species of velociraptor by the paleontologist's book Crichton had used as a reference. In the novel the Deinoychus is mentioned seperately, but one the scientists says they have been reclassified as velociraptors. So the "velociraptors" in the book are actually deinoychus but referred to as velociraptors since that's what Crichton believed they were at the time of writing.
When the film came about, the deinoychus and velociraptor had been separated as individual (although closely related), however the "velociraptors" were kept large for dramatic reasons (as well as changing the snout to look more menacing etc). During the making of the film, the Utahraptor was discovered by paleontologists, which was again even larger than the "velociraptors" in the film.

That isn't Helix
Helix would be smart enough to post dinosaurs in the dinosaur topic

Oh god that guy is still around here somewhere? Never saw him after he told everyone is ITN about how he would love to be eaten by a snake. Figured he had jumped into a Anaconda's cage at the zoo or something.

Helix Alioth is not Helix Snake, and I'm pretty sure Helix Alioth wouldn't crap up this thread with unwanted dragon vore either.
I think Obvious Alt Acc is either pretending to be Helix Snake or making fun of me.

Anyone remember that movie called Dinosaurs? It was awesome. The CGI looked incredible.
Next post is going to be pageking. Someone post before me because I don't have anything good to post.

I had this exact dinosaur toy when I was a child. I didn't have a name for it because I wasn't really creative.
Anyone remember that movie called Dinosaurs? It was awesome. The CGI looked incredible.
Yes, I remember it. Those tyrannosaur-sized Carnotaurus (because they were big, but not THAT big) were really cool. Man, those lemurs were soooo out of place :v:

I had a toy like this, except it was rainbow for some reason. I loved that thing.

I also had a Tyrannosaurus like that, it was HUGE and the body was fully articulated (Except for the limbs) and had soft "skin". Shit was so cash :buddy:
I took the soundbox out of mine, which made it completely hollow inside. That plus lego people made for hours of fun.
Lego and dinosaurs toys were the fucking BEST when I was like 8.
I'd spend hours playing out my imagination.

I have that thing around here somewhere...
I must find it.
You guys know that dinosaurs are just some shit made up by atheist scientists to make you turn away from God right?
Amphicoelias fragmillius is the sweetest dinosaur ever.

Holy shit. i want to make Armour out of that vertebrae. it almost already looks like the perfect bad ass warlord chest piece.
You guys know that dinosaurs are just some shit made up by atheist scientists to make you turn away from God right?
No i will not have god deny me the right to awesome armor.
Though now that i think about it. Those scientists are clever making dinosaurs look "somewhat" like demons.
No wonder their bones make great armor.
I just like the part where they stomp on things and roar like they're fucking gods.
me too :) but eating people/smaller dinos also helps that image
