^ The gun looks pretty neat, but you could probably make the gun 1px lower when in a horisontal position.

Mind if I use that base for my combines?
And can you give me all the poses you got (IF they are free,of course)
Ehhhh ask gregah
Blackhawks don't go with camouflage.
I meant the attack helicopter, the one with snow at the corner.

Is that okay?

The only thing I made were the legs and the arms, the chest and head is trifons.

Hmm, well snow camouflage usually consists of Green and White, like this ;

So do something like that and it's going to look good :)
Looks good, some basic shadowing and they're done pretty much :)
I have some basic damn shading >:(
I have some basic damn shading >:(
Make it advanced shading then :rimshot:
One is shaded one is Un-shaded, for caves
This is the result of some of my boredom, meant to be some sort of generic cartoony army (hence the strange running poses) so here they are:

Any ideas or criticism? (Don't say obvious stuff like helicopter and jeep, I'm working on them)
For once I don't have anything to say. :v:
Well to be honest you need a up/down tilting gun
Yes, I know that - this was around 20 minutes work, I'll do all the details after I have the bare bones finished.

An update appears!
Added all the dudes to a new sprite sheet and labelled.
-Added nessy (:D) and vehicles
-Improved and added some soldiers.
And now a quote from King Orson of Montgomery
"They may take our size but they will never take our freedom!"
Hurray for my nessy idea
The vehicles looks like crap to be honest. :v:
Except the plane.

Update to my generic cartoony guys, only 25 minutes effort there.
Why do the chopper blades bend upwards?
Still nothing to say more then that the weapon looks a bit.. plain?

Uuuuuh no
[editline]07:55PM[/editline]

Hey guys, I 'm trying to get started on Sprites. I was wondering if this is sufficient?

I'm also thinking about which image host I should use, I currently use filesmelt but I'd like to know it's pros and cons. Also do I need to remember the URL or are they "disposable"?
I use IE 7 and I was wondering if saving a picture rather than copying it, would work as an alternative.
Gregah,mind giving me a template?
I could probably draw a new one, got one in the FAQ.
You can look at the poster above me to see what they look like if you're lazy :)

They will be enough for now, perhaps add some sort of transportation (land, water and air)? :)
I use imageshack.us to host my pictures, great site albeit a bit slow at times.
