It's the MiG 17, so it's supposed to look cigar shaped. I think it's the only mig like that...it's not supposed to be the one above.
And the idea is that there isn't any shading, I think it looks better.
As for the pilot (possible 2, have to check again) I'll sprite that later.
I agree. I think shading would ruin the style of it.

The guns are very rectangular. The receiver of the gun should be 2-3 pixels tall, handguard should be 2, and barrel 1. Yours are 2 wide all along the gun.
Oh, im using my own consept for there weponry. "Energy Carbines" , hence the laser-esk beam below.
I really like those guys. Love the helicopter and style of the army.
