ok what im trying to say is, wooden walls arn't as even as that and they usulay have murder holes and... the gaps in the top of the wall....

He's got a point though, make the wall a bit more uneven, make some poles a bit more jagged, different colours and such :) Wooden palisades were rarely perfectly made since you're going to have a hard time finding enough trees that are all the same width and age.
