WIP futuristic mecha army thing. I'm new to PW, so please provide constructive criticism.
PW is 2D so the feet of it should be flat.
Also, I like the shading.
But, black outlines = bad.

When you're dealing with a mostly gray scale unit, black outline = good since the outline would blend in too much. At least I think so.
I don't know about the feet, it's supposed to look like they're kind of "gripping" the ground.
Change the color of the outline or remove it, it looks bad.
I'm going to say the opposite, Zee!'s style fits perfectly with black outlines.
But yeah PW is in 2d so you should probably change the direction slightly to the right.
I think the outlinies makes it look great, also, as the they said, change the feet a bit.
It really depends on your style on the outlines or not
Black outlines can add style, but a colored outline is almost always a better choice. I suggest using dark gray.
It should also be facing more to the right.
Hey raga. You know how you're using TYs people right? Didn't those come with a set of rules.
I gave him permission.
Thanks for that Ty, :buddy:

I thought it came with rules. Like no bullets or something like that. But oh well. As long as permission is given.

My greymen don't use black outlines. You don't need them.
Tbh, black outlines look like crap, because they make the sprite look horrible no matter how it's shaded, my opinion anyway.
As someone once said, Outlines can make or brake the sprite.

Now thats a cowinkadink ... Heres a new style I have been working on.

Win or bin? I need CnC on the two with red dots under them.

Still in dev' stages. Things I should keep? Loose? Or forget this all together?
Oh combine, well looks abit too fat if you ask me
Need to somehow make a more padded feel without shading.

Thats 4 pixels across for the legs. Any less and it looks pathetic.
Well to make it more "paddier" then you could add a darker outline of the colour your putting on in a round rectangle on the abs
