Really I think the issue is that the majority of musicians here don't make rock. They are electronic musicians. Which isn't very surprising granted what you need to record rock (mics, guitar, bass, amps, drums, playing ability). If you're like me you use virtual amps and virtual drums, but it was still quite an investment for the guitars and the amp sims. Also factor in that you level of technique limits what you can play.
You guys could re-record the tracks I posted earlier in this thread, I'd love to hear what my music would sound like with some quality equipment. If they are good enough that is, but it's a start at least. :v:

I still want to do this. Not a single person has submitted a song.
I thought I did. Or maybe I didn't. I forget.
People are more than welcome to take those riffs in my songs and work it into a passable song!
