I think I see what disturbed everypony about it. The fact that Pinkie never breaks her character throughout the whole thing adds creepiness to it, if only because serial-killers not behaving as if their actions are wrong or even distasteful terrified our minds. Personally, I have an iron stomach and am pretty desensitized to awful shit, so no imagery taking place is going to make me recoil. And it didn't help that the pitch-black humor snuck into the whole thing lightened the mood a tad. But...please, somepony tell me...I really don't want to feel alone in this sentiment... During the whole thing, once Dash realized the gravity of her situation, didn't you find a desire...a...a wish for her desperate pleas for her life and appeals to her captor...to keep going? At least more than they did? I don't know why, but I envisioned the tearful begging, and rather wanted more of it... Is this some dark sector of horror-appreciation in the human mind that everypony feels, but never talks about, or is there something wrong with me? :ohdear:
