I Had an Ingrown Toenail But the Doctor Cut My Toe Bad

Quick! Call the doct--
uh.
My big toe is in sympathy pain.
I had an ingrown toenail, so some Indian doctor cut it out. It grew back, and the same doctor cut it out and told me how to not let it happen again. I followed his instructions to the word, and yet again it came back, so i got pissed, pulled out a pair of nail clippers, and a multitool, and cut the dam thing out myself. To this day it has not grown back
Haha, you went to a doctor to fix an ingrown toenail? You could do that shit yourself
The doctors stop that part of the nail growing back by burning away the nail bed with some sort of chemical. Which means it won't ingrow in the same place again.
I had mine done, it's never going to heal pretty, but thats the procedure, mine bled like a mofo for 2 days but it was bandaged.
Hey OP i've got that too , I know exactly how you feel it hurts like a bitch!
The only good thing out of this is that I get out of PE classes.
The Doctor had to give me three needles on my big right toe and cut my nail too, I also got an ingrown nail on my big left toe too but not as bad.
My toe(s) bleed to and ooze green stuff...
Well Im going to make another appointment with the doctor too!
Make a thread about it and gross everyone out, why you don't you. EWWWWWWWWWW.
Had that, mine looked worse.
I've had ingrown toenails on my big toes since birth. They don't grow, so no blood. So no need to worry. Sucks for you. :smug:
I hate ingrown toenails. I have one myself, and it hurts like a bitch when touch anywhere near my foot, plus theres a bit of pus too. Fucking gross, and I hate it. Worse of all is I cant manage to see where its digging in, it looks fine, but I cant find the real problem, because it hurts too much to push the soft skin of the sides of my toe back.
Motherfuck i was eacting as i saw this.
I really don't like feet but I had to see if there was a picture involved... I was too curious.
I had that...thing bled fucking everywhere
He also did something so my nail doesn't grow on the sides anymore
Would you rather have an ingrown nail?
Lol, I recently accidentally cut my hand on one of those sharp bits inside food processors. Just so I'm clear I didn't just turn on the food processor and put my hand in there.
The bleeding (and nail cut) is normal. It's important to keep your toe wrapped tightly during the day to prevent infection. Your bandages will be saturated - do not change them. Keep it covered; the bleeding will stop eventually. Remove the wraps in the evening and soak your foot in warm water with Epsom salt. Sleep without bandages.
Om nom nom.
I haven't had a lot of luck in that department either. I have had the op done twice already and I'm already getting problems again , There useless.

Its most likely at the bottom of the nail if you cant see it, Even the slightest niche out of place and it happens
I have had ingrown toenail many times and i have cutted it out by my self with small scissors, nail clippers and with a needle(to put it inside and to flip in grown nail outside so it would be able to cutt)

This, real men, and by that I mean I have in the past, use a scapel and pliers.
Oh wow, the coinsedence.
Was walking around with this on both toes for half a year.
My toenails grow however the hell they want to, including ways they are not supposed to go. I had one part of my nail removed last month. It was heavily infected and I was unable to walk on it.
My left big toe started infecting too on both sides of the nail right after I got an operation on the right one.
I just came back from getting almost the whole nail removed. Need to rest for around a week so the infection and wild meat (there was some wild/dead infected flesh mutant thingy growing over the infection) can heal a bit.
Also OP if you think that's swollen, think again. :v:
I currently have a large bandage wrapped around my toe. It constantly keeps pressure on the wound. I can't take it off until end of the week.
Also, you should've gotten this done by a real doctor. They burn down the wound so it does not bleed (so you dont get the problems you have now).
Ow that looks gross. I remember having this surgery fucking hurts like hell even with the drugs they give you... But my guy, you know.. he didn't fuck up.
I had one of them and I cut it out with a scalpel myself. Hurt pretty bad.
I sterilised it though :eng101:
I had ingrown toenails on both my big toes on both sides. I had to get surgery, and they didn't put me under. It basically was a half an hour of getting anesthetic in my toes that hurt like fuck (they used the second to largest needle), and it made my toes swell up to the size of baseballs (that was fucking cool.) then for 20 minutes I watched as the doc cut fuck out of my toes. Then I had to soak them in salt water for two weeks.

"Real men". Hate that phrase. Real men don't do potentially dangerous and stupid things without proper preparation. You will never find a good hunter or outdoors man take the dangerous path without supplies and knowledge. Did you sterilize the scalpel, disinfect the area, and know how not to slice around the nail before foolishly ripping a whole? Real men know how to handle a family, when to be quiet, when to admit defeat, take the consequences, and how to choose their own path. There's more to being a man than shrugging off pain in a bizarre display of machismo.
The Toe is doin better, and it's stopped bleeding at this point, but it's still numb. Only been over 12 hours at this point. :v:

It's called a joke. And yes I did sterilise the blade, I'm not a complete idiot. I didn't rip it open I held the skin back while scoring through the nail it wasn't really hard.
My ingrown toenail was painful (August - November).
Fuck, man. Fuck.
Although the most painful part about having the nail cut is the fucking needles. Two in each side of my big toe. O-U-C-H.
It is currently May.
Since January my toenail didn't look...right.
Since then my Toenail is dead.
They killed my nail. I know they wanted it to stop growing but :argh: it's coming off by itself now :frown:
First it was a crack (oh shit Dr. Who) and then the top part of the nail wore out and needed to be clipped off. The crack is still there and hurts like fuck when something is caught underneath. It's only happened 3 times though.
I predict that by this time next year my toenail will look fucked up.
Hell it still looks fucked up right now. Looks like only a week ago did I take off the bandages and orange shit.
There's also a big gap between my toe and the next toe. That's where it swelled up and fucked over.
That thing is fucking HUGE.
