Some of the more uncreative client work I do I just make a preset and chuck it on, zoom through all of them to make they're all fine and export, so for some images I spend as little as 3 seconds looking at
For the stuff I put on flickr though it can be from like 10 minutes to 2 hours
Well with your stuff, mainly the club related photography, I would have thought the majority of shots would only need a preset slapping on. That's what I've noticed of club photography, especially shots of people at the club. It's like you get a preset which makes the skin tones look good then apply it to all of them.

all club photographers use the same editing for people shots yes
it's a demand thing, if you don't do it you don't get hired because everyone wants their club photos to look like X clubs photos do
and then every now and then someone will start using a new preset and then a few others will start using a similar one
ends up as a circle where everyone copies everyone elses style, will be interesting to see how the "club style" changes in the future
but then everyone has their own little substyle so you can usually tell who's photos are who's
I'd love to give a shot at club photography but I'd end up with pictures that are way too out of the box for the owner's liking.

This reminds me, anyone in London who wants to get into club photography let me know, there's waaay more jobs going than there are decent enough photographers to do them, we all end up with 3-4 jobs a week that we can't do because we're already booked for something else, and we can never find anyone to do them because everyone else is always already booked

London meetup in the summer sometime? I've got five months off which is a looong time
I suspect there will be multiple photofp meet-ups in London during the summer this year.
I'm kind of ignoring it at the moment, because I literally fail to recognise any part of my life that isn't within the next week.
But, within a month, I suspect more plans with start to become more concrete, and we will share dates, accommodation etc.
for sure, i'm usually doing the live in the week mentality but the problem is the cost of travel will go up more and more for me so i want it to be cleared up asap.

Will be in Brockley from May 15th - June 5th. I've got pretty much no plans the entire time, going to try and go to some club thing Dvorak is shooting on the 17th and that's about it
should i plan to come down a week earlier then?
Would be cool, but you don't have to plan your trip around just me. I'm sure I'd be free on the 4th, don't know what you will be doing then though.
