Got in at sound and music production for uni. Looked at photography, but they completely abandoned art photography because there were so many crap photogs, so they've started a new course that only focuses on product, portraits and newspaper photography. Fuck that, I'll snap in my spare time.

I just picked up 5 developed rolls (Berlin), one of the rolls (Ektar 100) had prints which I didn't ask for. So I'm like 'excuse me I didn't ask for prints I'm not paying for those', the cashier girl was like 'ok I'll subtract those prints but you can keep them ;)'

I think Ektar 100 is now my favourite colour film, loving the saturation and contrast!
i got my hands on two canon eos 600 bodies, so i'm looking to buy a few rolls of film and two batteries as well.
i think i'll give the one without a date back to my friend, so that we can explore the whole shooting film thing together :smile:

^^ shoot the cheapest roll there is as a test roll for any light leaks and develop only

got my first roll back from the lab today and got some prints too since i wanted to scan them in myself in the near future.
I'd say 2 or 3 out of 23 are decent and are shots that i'm happy with. A lot of seem overexposed. Not sure if i fucked up or if it's a result of them being printed poorly. I was fairly sure that i was exposing correctly at the time. Is it possible that the prints are just poor?
I wonder if I should do the $10 flickr book for relatives for x-mas and h-kuh, or if that's to vain of a gift. It would just be another book to sit on the shelf, that's how those books are...
