The Hive isn't so bad, but I feel like I double the average age when I walk in.
it's weird seeing a random assortment of FPers talking casually about a local place. us US FPers are surprised to find out someone's 'only' a state or two away
Anyone know where I could find lens-mount diagram with measurements or detailed specifications? Or better yet, a place where I could buy a lens-mount itself? Can't seem to find anything online. Any major lens mount (such as any Nikon, Canon, Pentax, or Olympus mount that has lenses available) would work for this project.
you can buy hollow extension tubes for virtually all mounts, they usually have the mount itself screw off

That's perfect actually. Just found one for under $15, and all I need is is the little metal ring, but I didn't want to sacrifice an old camera for it, and I wasn't looking forward to modeling one myself. Thanks!
I can get you a metal mount for Minolta/Sony if you want, postage should be pretty low. I have some cameras I broke so might as well put the parts to good use.

Well, I think I'll just buy this pentax one since I mainly own pentax lenses. Thanks though

i shot 31 slide photos today (Provia 100f), hoping to drop off the film before friday and get it back before wednesday. i really am hoping that it performs well with minimal color shifting. shooting this much film in one trip though was very difficult for me
messaged my favorite rapper on twitter saying that ive been a fan for the past 5 years and that it would be so sick if I could get a press pass or whatever to his next concert in/near NYC to take some pics
he responded asking for my email and that he is planning something
could they have chosen worse looking example photos wow

jesus
pretty sure I bought a pack of 500 similar effects for $8 on accident once and haven't found a single use for any of them
I love when things are just like "save $100 because we said it's worth that much" approach to making something look special
so I had a roll of Portra 400 developed at some obscure local photography shop about a month ago and I always wondered how these kind of shops survive in the webshop era. Today I found out why, these fuckers charge 3x the average price of development costs. It took them almost 4 weeks to develop 1 roll colour negative for fuck sake, with such slow and shitty service you'd expect at least a discount or an apology but nope... 'that'll be 9 euro please!'

Just to give an idea of average development speed at other shops: HEMA had my rolls from Berlin developed within 5 days during Easter/holidays. 3 Euro per roll, they even gave me free 10x15 prints because of a mistake on their part.
I can get up to 10 rolls done at £2 a pop in under an hour here
one pound film, two quid developing. you Brits are lucky with those prices
God save the Queen
wtf where
ASDA photo centre's mate, they scan everything for £1 too - prints are cheap as shit as well.
perfect deal to go along with with that free $100 filter set
