dropped off two rolls of film today, the provia 100f and a Kodak gold 200 that has pictures from like a year ago. hoping the provia turns out alright, because otherwise i don't have much to do with the remaining rolls. curious to see how the labs processes it as well, they seemed pretty snotty (my friend went there and came back with some bent negatives and scratches, which is okay for $1.50 processing but not for $11.50). probably not likely to go back regardless, but i at least hope the film isn't too expired to work properly
then the gold 200 i tried to drop off at Costco early to pick up later in the day, but they were closed at 9am, and the other one i went to didn't even process film! bummed i couldn't pick it up today, but that's life i guess :/
my kitchen is getting redone so i cant eat any real food for the next several months unless i eat out which is $$$
and now my fucking washing machine wont turn on at all so im basically malnourished and stuck with dirty clothes

Your parents (i assume) would really redo their kitchen, without feeding you? Do they go out to eat without you or something? That's a shame man. :(

im kind of jokingly exaggerating the situations but my mom works most of the day and the people working on the kitchen accidentally unplugged the fridge essentially destroying the hundreds of dollars of food in it (not like there was any real meals in it anyway, just microwaveable shit). I have no microwave yet. All I have right now is 6 boxes of girl scout cookies, miscellaneous bars/chips/etc, and like fruits. Small toaster oven and one little hot plate thing are i think somewhere downstairs so yeah. and the grill is outside but idk how to grill
and my sisters dont like picking up food because it costs too much money when we do it a lot and therefore they wanna make my mom pay for it but she doesnt want to
and fyi unless otherwise mentioned my father is absent and out of the picture
so tl;dr; my mom is my families only source of income (which she doesnt make much yet just starting out with a new career) and all i have is junk food

ive recently been taking way less photos and spending more time looking at cheap shitty beat up cars on craigslist because im just starting to drive but im known for finding one hobby, enjoying it for a bit and then quitting and dumping all my money into something progressively more expensive but I think cars as a hobby are just too much for me right now so im going to avoid getting into that
(unless my grandma gives me her 3rd gen honda accord, at which point im going to make it look ridiculous)

Yep. My birth parents split when I was 3, and both got remarried, so I basically grew up in 2 households, with 2 parents at each household. For 13 years I would switch houses every week.

So ASOS have asked me to be like a style scout for them in clubs and stuff, find pretty and stylish girls and getting a shot of them then sending over to them the next day so they can do a writeup about what's hot or not or something like that

Pay is insane though - £10 per image sent, which doesn't sound like much but if I send like 10 a night that's an extra £100 a night for literally no work

id say read up on colour palletes and general fashion theory so you can identify who at the club is aiming to be fashion conscious.
then i guess look at ensembles from recent high fashion shows (probably going back to summer last year) and look for stuff that mimics that with a more casual vibe. ASOS probably want you focus on what would be considered your typical street wear with the hint of daring that fashion houses generally run with

Start your research now, it's pretty easy if you're already an arty type to get the gist of current and emerging trends. Remember to clearly define style from fashion. A good place to start would be trawling Tumblr for #fashion and related tags.

It's through my club work that I do, 95% of everything I shoot doesn't get uploaded to flickr, it's mostly shots of people having a good time in clubs etc and girls dancing, like this sort of stuff: [url]http://instagram.com/shorebitch[/url]
