This Pracktika super TL2 is really fun to shoot with.
Well ASOS were understanding about the problems I had and I'm shooting for them again later this week so that's awesome, although that was booked before I shot the aforementioned event.
Hopefully it will become a regular thing, one step further towards going full time
[editline]13th May 2014[/editline]
I guess I am sort of full time already in the sense that it's my main and only source of income and I don't really do anything else
just don't work enough hours to be classed as officially full time
Glad to hear it mate!
Going to try and get back into photography this summer. I miss it so much. Hopefully I can make a short film or music video too. I need to expand my portfolio for internships next year.

Go hiking. Fuck your toe.

I work in a field that's always hiring and I am fortunate enough to move from an apprenticeship to a full-time position. I'm sure there's a lot of recent graduates in the same spot as you - especially with a degree like yours (psychology?)

What position do you have? Yeah I got psych, not a lot of specialized stuff to do unless I do more schooling, but I'm just trying to apply it generally to any field really

That's good. Doc said it would take over a month to heal but that was probably a generous overestimate.
I've got loads of film to get developed, and I'm not sure where to take it. There's nowhere nearby that develops it. The closest place I know of is an hour away, and they charge between $8-$10 per roll, and they have to ship it out.
I found a place online to send it before, looked like a small business, but I can't seem to find it again. I seem to remember they had good reviews, and they only charged about $3 per roll for contact sheet + CD. Any tips for film development in the US?
[editline]14th May 2014[/editline]
Just counted, I have 16 rolls to develop.
While I can't help with a place, I can suggest you give them a call (when you choose a studio) and ask them if they'll cut you a small discount for developing a fair number of rolls.
I get mine done at Costco, very cheap there

Just gave them a call. Sounds like it'll be roughly $75 for the lot. Not bad! Thanks

Don't drop big plates on your toes
Oh my god it hurts
Eyyy folks. :)
You guys made a good point. Also, I've been trying to show you guys some of the prom photos, but due to Facebook, they turn out GIGANTIC. :b I probably won't do the event...especially since I can't drive...yet.
Also, prolly nowhere near as good as, say, codenamecueball's awesome-looking films, but me and a friend made a movie for Digital Film Production class. Figured I might as well post it here, get some feedback...y'know. Can't get the video-link-thing to work, though.
