oh sweet jesus i have too many keepers this has never happend to meeeeee aaaaaa
how do y'all make yourselves feel better when you're feeling down?
I just ride my bike aimlessly and rly rly fast (had some guy tell my i was doing 25mph yesterday)
i tend to get drunk, but it doesn't really do a whole lot of good.
My go to is usually listen to an interesting podcast or an audio book and lie down or distract myself by driving aimlessly until I realise how far I've gone and have to make the drive back.
i usually play video games but thats what i do all the time anyways [editline]18th May 2014[/editline] the art department had an open house, thats where i took all of those photos from my last set in the CPT, but heres my picture! The other department that really blew me away was textiles and screen printing. I REALLY want to take that class. Everyone's work in there was amazing, and I got a free rose sticker for my laptop that was at least 6x8 inches. The pre-req is ART4, which is beginning graphic design, which I need bad.
how do y'all make yourselves feel better when you're feeling down?
Listen to angry music, listen to sad music, play drums, talk to close friends, talk to my shrink, look at things I've done, that I'm proud of.
Listen to angry music,
this, boyo get some 36 Crazyfists on and throwdown haaaaaard
watch movies that are good
go to london
London made me angry, but it was at the time that I looked like a terrorist/criminal and was refused entrance at several pubs..
look at things I've done, that I'm proud of.
I can't do this when I'm feeling down otherwise I'll overanalyze everything and hate everything I've done.
Listen to Kind of Like Spitting
I can't do this when I'm feeling down otherwise I'll overanalyze everything and hate everything I've done.
It used to work for me, but not anymore.. Listening to Deftones and Saturday Night Wrist atm. Perfect blend of rage and emo.
Making myself aware of the things I take for granted gives me a big boost.
I dont post nearly enough content to this forum, sorry guys :(
Either i go on a hike till i feel at least a touch better or i listen to spacey atmospheric techno till my tinnitus starts getting too severe
fucking got waay too drunk last night shot 4 32gb cards, got like 6000 raws to go through also woke up to discover the top of my mode dial is missing didn't know that was even a thing that could happen I guess at least it looks like a cool techy thing now
So I have a couple of questions for you guys. How exactly do you approach taking photographs? Do you just go out with your mates and bring a camera along? Or do you go out for the sole purpose of photographing stuff? And another thing that's been irking me - when you're out without your camera, do you get that nagging feeling when you see something you'd love to snap a shot of? In that line of thought, do you always have a camera with you?

And I get that feeling all the time man, I can't wait to be at a point where I can carry my camera all the time and shoot loads. Also, Laurence that looks sick af without the top of the dial on - only downside is now you have no idea what mode you're in haha
i hate not bringing my camera with me somewhere because when i do i feel that i've missed great opportunities
I rarely have the intent of taking photos, I just bring a camera and hope for the best. Always try and bring one with me, they aren't that big and with a good shoulder strap you hardly notice it.
Trog, cos you agreed to my post earlier when I'm finished writing up my next blog post I'm gonna put up some instagram snaps for you :)
I forgot to post here about it but I'm really happy with how my first job went yesterday. Thank you guys so much for the advice, I don't often shoot the D70 but I'm glad it's all I brought.

Save up a bit more and get a higher quality lens, at least a 1.8. I got a Auto Chinon 50 1.4 for £60.
