They are exposed fine-ish, if a little over exposed but it's just asda's terrible scan quality that I don't like. Never really noticed how bad and pixelated they are until I've gone to edit some of these haha
Ah I gotcha. Yeah places that do CD photo scans are usually absolute shit, not worth getting unless you don't have access to a scanner. I think they process the files the same as their 4x6 prints, so they super sharpen it and make it low resolution. I'm sure their scanners could do much better, but they just have them in mind for printing purposes and the digital CD is secondary

obligatory balcony shot
we could have a thread
photos taken on Pickwickian-'s balcony
Missing photography. I planning on taking some hikes soon so hopefully I'll be able to get some landscape shots at least.
I'll be traveling by plane in a month or so - do you reckon they'll let me on board with my film camera, or will I have to stash it in my luggage?
no reason they wouldn't

All I've ever seen them do is ask you to show them it is actually a camera (i.e. taking a picture/taking the lens off, something like that).

You'll be fine mate, i've done it pretty much every time i've flown.
Edit: woops this is blazefresh posting from pickwickians computer haha i forgot i wasnt logged in
They won't care if you take pictures during takeoff and landing out of the window either, even with digital.
Just never put your analog camera or film in the cargo luggage as it gets scanned with more dosage of x-ray than carry-on luggage which is fine for films up to about 400 ISO (or even 1600 ISO).
i always carry on film, wont chance the heavy xrays

I generally declare my film so they hand-examine it instead of tossing it through an x-ray.
Some airports just insist on putting it through the xray and don't want to hand check it for you. Experienced this on Berlin Tegel airport 2 weeks ago :(

Well, other than possibly ruining the film inside, that shouldn't be a problem, right?
Any possibility of ruining my already shot rolls of a vacation because of a xray machine certainly IS a problem IMHO.
That said, next time I am putting my 120 film in a lead bag, my 35mm film already were in Hama filmsafes in the first place.
Unless your film is like ISO 1600 or above it's not going to do much at all
I shot a roll of neopan 400 at 1600 in holland, and I put it through the scanner and it looks great, where there was more chance of damage, but it was fine.
I even put a compact half frame camera in my checked baggage with film inside and well look here

2 days off with some nice forecast coming up, gonna chill at the beach one of these days for sure. Any Dutchies interested in a small meetup day at the beach?
Going to greece for two weeks on Friday digging for old temple structures with radar, seismic and EM measuring, so fucking excited!
Also it's 32° all day there I'm gonna melt.
