I just hiked 2 mountains the other day, and as I was sitting in the snow, looking at the view, I thought "I could get my camera out right now and get some great shots", but I just sat there enjoying the view instead of anything else.

there's this tiny speck of dust on my 500D's sensor which does not want to go away even after using one of those rubber blow cleaners. is it safe to remove this speck of dust with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or are there other DIY sollutions? google only returns with ~specialized sensor cleaning products~
Grab some of those purpose-made pre-moistened cleaning swabs from amazon.

I'm in the same boat, it doesn't go away at all, even after wet cleaning.
Get pre moistened swabs, they will fix literally the worst of messes

they don't let me bring in my camera because it's a bank and there's sensitive financial data on the screen

you'd think that when you send a change of address notification to a bank it's a computer updating it for you but nope it's a miserable person being paid minimum wage and that person is me.
Had an interview today for video editing, went super well. Would be awesome to get paid to edit videos.

I just replaced the screen on my Nexus 7, if it's anything the same should be a piece of piss mate. Remove casing/battery, unmount LCD and digitiser connections, remove the electronic board from the display, ease the glass from the devices bezel and replace. Just youtube it boss.

My slide film scans with dedicated scanners aren't any better. Slides are just a PITA to scan in general.
how much PP do you guys do on negs? I'm not sure if i'm getting enough out of each scan. i try not to fuck with anything other than digital ice and sometimes colour restoration
I scan with an Epson Silverfast v750 pro, 3200dpi only automatic lightning. other PP done in photoshop such as levels, curves, vibrance & saturation and sharpening
