nice one, gl & hf your first day
How to shoot 9000 products in a week? Build a lightbox on wheels. Then build two more. result: [t]http://jaanus.cc/private/tootetest-1.jpg[/t][t]http://jaanus.cc/private/tootetest-7.jpg[/t][t]http://jaanus.cc/private/tootetest-9.jpg[/t][t]http://jaanus.cc/private/tootetest-8.jpg[/t] don't mind if some of them have slightly grayish backgrounds, it's going to be inevitable when batching so many different-sized/colored products
I like how the last one has a shadow on the background, looks nicer than if it was just plain white
I got the job! Woohoo now I won't be unemployed forever 8)
now you can visit me
what job was it trobgon
gotten to a point where I'm never happy with any of the new photos I take. Time for a long photo break I suppose
what job was it trobgon
It's basically a call center thing. Just getting my foot in the door at a good business, and making some money in the process
I just hiked 2 mountains the other day, and as I was sitting in the snow, looking at the view, I thought "I could get my camera out right now and get some great shots", but I just sat there enjoying the view instead of anything else. [editline]30th June 2014[/editline]
I got the job! Woohoo now I won't be unemployed forever 8)
CREAM.
going on one hell of a longass walk with some friends on the South downs, Starting from Beachy head and ending up wherever really. Hopefully get some good shots.
anyone know how to replace the glass on a galaxy s3/done it themselves?
im picking up a roll tomorrow! I feel like I haven't posted here in ages. When summer started I really lost my photo edge... I missed out on all of open summer lab, and it was $90... I just didn't have any rolls to develop... [editline]1st July 2014[/editline] congrats to you trog, btw!
there's this tiny speck of dust on my 500D's sensor which does not want to go away even after using one of those rubber blow cleaners. is it safe to remove this speck of dust with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or are there other DIY sollutions? google only returns with ~specialized sensor cleaning products~
Grab some of those purpose-made pre-moistened cleaning swabs from amazon. [editline]1st July 2014[/editline] http://www.amazon.com/Riin-Sensor-Cleaning-Cleaner-Camera/dp/B00E4CMO2M/ref=sr_1_17?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1404222985&sr=1-17&keywords=sensor+swab
i have a stubborn bit of dust [editline]1st July 2014[/editline] also protip: always always ALWAYS hold ken air upright especially when blowing it at a mirror
Q-tip + tap water was the worst idea ever, good thing a q-tip with rubbing alcohol got rid of that shit, BUT
i have a stubborn bit of dust
I'm in the same boat, it doesn't go away at all, even after wet cleaning.
Get pre moistened swabs, they will fix literally the worst of messes
It's basically a call center thing. Just getting my foot in the door at a good business, and making some money in the process
doing a similar thing they don't let me bring in my camera because it's a bank and there's sensitive financial data on the screen it's hell. [editline]1st July 2014[/editline] you'd think that when you send a change of address notification to a bank it's a computer updating it for you but nope it's a miserable person being paid minimum wage and that person is me.
Had an interview today for video editing, went super well. Would be awesome to get paid to edit videos.
if you enjoy editing/grading then i'm sure it'll be a great job. nice one
anyone know how to replace the glass on a galaxy s3/done it themselves?
I just replaced the screen on my Nexus 7, if it's anything the same should be a piece of piss mate. Remove casing/battery, unmount LCD and digitiser connections, remove the electronic board from the display, ease the glass from the devices bezel and replace. Just youtube it boss.
Any of you guys in Leeds on the 18th, Me and frag4life are having a day trip to Leeds would like to meet a few of yous guys
Why Leeds of all places?
Well I'm from outside of Newcastle, and theres a nice vintage camera store plus theres a fair bit to wander around, and its not a daft distance to travel by coach.

oh man, slide film scans with a flatbed are such a pain in the ass to PP
oh man, slide film scans with a flatbed are such a pain in the ass to PP
My slide film scans with dedicated scanners aren't any better. Slides are just a PITA to scan in general.
how much PP do you guys do on negs? I'm not sure if i'm getting enough out of each scan. i try not to fuck with anything other than digital ice and sometimes colour restoration
I scan with an Epson Silverfast v750 pro, 3200dpi only automatic lightning. other PP done in photoshop such as levels, curves, vibrance & saturation and sharpening [editline]2nd July 2014[/editline] oh yeah .TIFF format
