Just found out my favorite dog that my family had while growing up died tonight. They don't know what happened, but they think it's either that he ate something poisonous or got bit by something venomous. Really shitty night. He was about 13/14 years old, and was still healthy enough for another 3 years at least. RIP Django.
where's the full contract??
message #1 message #2 www.crowdmedia.co/terms i read through all the terms and it seems okay to me, but i figured i wanted to ask you guys. i just can't figure out if this is worth it, or if it'll just allow me to sell photos for $1 a pop once every full moon..
might join but none of my photos are very stock friendly
If a publisher wants to use one of my photos, will you ask me first? Editorial publishers are used to receive their images right away, they don't wait. It's not like commercial use where everything is fixed weeks ahead of time. This is why we can’t ask your permission every time a publisher wants to use your photo. You are informed soon after they used it with all the necessary information and the payment details. So in other words, it's a pool of photographs editorials can grab from without having to worry about a price set by the photographer. Personally I wouldn't expect that much of an income.
seems like there's nothing to lose [editline]9th September 2014[/editline] like if you're not selling your pictures already and aren't planning to in the near future
but maybe having my photos published might get me more traffic and maybe with time some income. i guess i don't really have anything to loose. have you seen a boost in traffic?
Sorry for being less active with photos lately guys, here's a taster of what's been taking up my time since I got back from my trip. https://soundcloud.com/samhaberman/sets/cynyxyty-demo/s-6fPF6
Great stuff Sam
Great stuff Sam
Yup.
Nothing exciting today, just a pano of the sunset from earlier. Wanted to wait around and do some long exposure night shots but I was just too tired and it was WAY too windy. Another night! [t]http://i4.minus.com/ibppK9N5faBgmo.jpg[/t]
You have a beautiful voice, Salmon.
Hey I'm trying to find a certain documentary or article that's a couple years old based around e-waste. I forgot what it was called, something like "artificial landscape" or the name was based around these sets of images of trash that were so vast that they were big enough to be considered geographical features. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It had some of the best photographed images of e-waste

got shot in the eye with a nerf gun on sunday, been seeing a black spot since then just went to the optometrist and they put eye dilation stuff in it for a test, now i'm walking about with one loopy eye [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] feels like i'm living in one of those 3d wiggle gifs [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] but hey on the bright side there's no retinal detachment [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] shiny stuff looks really cool because everything is super blurry, wonder what this would be like in both eyes [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] also got the optometrist to email me a photo of my retina

Well, I came upon a couple of Origin game keys and I can't really be arsed to trade them - I thought I might as well share them: Crysis 2 Maximum Edition Medal of Honor (the new one) Mirror's Edge Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Populous [del]The Sims 3 + a bunch of DLCs, redeemable through thesims3.com (you still need an Origin account) (High End Loft Stuff; Late Night; Date Night)[/del] Some of you might've guessed these are from the Origin Humble Bundle, but anyway - if one of these games strikes your fancy [del](or any of the Sims 3 DLCs)[/del], shout at me via PM. One down, five to go.
Stick two of them in one of those big cams with dual slots and you've got a terabyte of storage in camera. Feeling very 21st century.

Also good luck with the T Pain job.
oh yeah turns out the optometrist uses a 5dmk1 for the retinal photos
got like 6 rolls in my fridge from norway but i'm too poor to develop them!
