I think this heavily depends on for who the leaflet is, white bg with black typography is very standard and is something that can be done by any one of the relatives in word. That's why I shot the idea/suggestion of black bg with white typohraphy but that could be too risky yeah. Maybe it would work well for a gothic/metal fan though?

I think it's true. It's pushed ISO though, so it doesn't really count. It's just taking the max native and pushing the exposure in post. The base ISO is 100-16000 which all Sony 24mp chips have, but most top out the boost at 25600

Yeah, I'm finding skin tones pretty tough. I generally end up with a ghost or an Oompa-Loompa, so I just decided to go for the inbetween.

you're colouring the persons face with only one tone of colour, when a face is captured in an image it contains many many different shades in each the shadows, midtones and highlights. Your method has washed it out. Try selecting the face as a whole and messing with the colour shadows, midtones and highlights.

I like this idea, although i find the cactus rating humorous, i think a more serious rating would be better placed in our small community. I mean we all know the artistic rating works fine, but why not get one a separate exclusive one for us.

I don't think it needs to represent something that's 'really good', that's kinda lame, winner would suffice. It could act as a nod to our tight-knit-ness and inside love/respect/humor. Make it unique to this subforum, otherwise it's a waste of a custom rating.
